The best plastic repair clip I've seen yet.
I'm going to have a go at repairing a few holes and cracks and taking the dent of of my Subaru front bumper from where a kangaroo went head first into it 5 years ago. Thinking I'll leave the tape in place of the back, hey a little extra support over then holes and cracks can't hurt.

Nice and thorough lesson. I remember in an auto body class over 40 years ago, occasionally a students who already worked part time in a body shop would raise their hands and comment on how their shop would use a particular shortcut. The instructor would always point out, that he was teaching the correct and thorough technique, and that students should always learn the correct way of doing things, before making changes or otherwise modifying them to their particular situation. That always stuck with me, as something I should probably apply to many things I learned in school. The instructor would not say the shortcuts were wrong, since he actually came from the auto body repair industry, but when applicable, he would point out potential risks or pitfalls of whatever shortcut they brought up, if there were any.

I use a fine steel mesh and use a soldering iron to melt the mesh into the plastic. This works very well for me and thr bond is very strong. I use plastic coffee stirring rods to fill-in gaps

I bought one of these and could not for the life of me, figure out how to use it. Returned it the same day.

Perfect video, not all cars have Bumper replacement, there are cars with parts discontinued and the only way is fixing the broken plastic part, so this video is perfect for those that have cars with discontinued parts...
