We need more reviews of motorcycles like this gentleman does! Watching the video felt like a gentleman telling me with his experience which bike I should buy and that he really cares that I am happy when I buy the bike. Kudos to you Sir! Keep the great work going on! A man of culture! A true gentleman!
Excellent video! I'm 68 years old, 6'6" tall, pants inseam of 34 inches, like you. I always buy used, and while my 1st choice now is the Bear 650, I'm also looking at the Interceptor and the older Bonneville T100. I"m glad you've incliuded photos of you sitting on the bikes, as that gives me a real reference point about how I would look, and feel, riding one.
I've rode BMW's for nearly 50 years- all S's and RS's. When I saw the Rocker Red GT at my dealer (who sells both brands) I fell in love, again. Lol. 1 month earlier I bought a Classic 350- also fell in love. Cheaper than getting married again, lol. Just subscribed to your channel- love your presentation. 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
When I went to look at the Royal Enfield 650s, I got to test ride an INT 650, and it was pretty much all right as it reminded me of the 1971 Triumph Bonneville I had in my youth. After the test ride I went into the dealers show room and fell in love with a Ventura Blue Continental GT 650. I had to have it for no other reason than looks alone and the GTs price was close to the INTs price. That was 2020 when I bought the GT. My space between the sewage disposal dept and my amusement park does tend to become numb after 20 miles or so on the GT, and when I dismount it takes a while before circulation revives and my manhood comes back online. Nice video.
When I first saw and sat on my GT650 I knew shes the one, my only hesitation is the wrist pain since Im not used to the riding position, but after a month of riding, my body has adjusted and the use of the right technique, Im already having a blast! Im really glad I went for the GT!
I'm very happy to see him analyzing all the points with a very open mind, it's a beautiful thing to see. You take great care and affection when you analyze. Greetings from Brazil.
This is the best comparison of these two bikes I have seen. Thank you! I totally agree - the GT does look cooler, period. Me, as someone looking for a first bike, I would be more likely to pick the Interceptor - pretty much for the reasons you mentioned.
I have a blue GT 650 and I love it, very comfortable and I'm 62. It's my favorite bike to ride for all day in the northern California Sierras. I also have a Ducati Diavel V4 Dragster edition, Ducati Panigale Superquadro V2, ZX10R KRT, Ducati Formula 73,and other bikes. It's my go-to fun bike. Also the GT 650 is a crowd pleaser, it's hard to get gas since it always draws a crowd. Awesome video. Slow Rider Ducati out.
