Did you see her soft side come out at the end? 🥹

I did take a dog like that. 9lbs of fear, shaking, scared to death little girl. I got her home, showed her the food and water then left her alone. It took a week an a half before she came to me and asked for attention. But now she won’t go more the 3 steps away from me. She is the best dog I have ever had.

There is no worse human being on Earth than one who abuses a helpless child or an animal.

I rescued a sweet little dog that was tied to the motorway many years ago. She was trembling from head to toe , her eyes were so wide with fear she could not close them.
We drove her home . I held her close on my lap the entire night, even when she pee on me I did not move her.
In the morning she accepted food from me, not a lot just a nibble.
She made an incredible fast recovery. The only medicine was love. Love heals without a single doubt.
She was so beautiful ❤

Hi Rocky. I have to give you a mega thank you for helping my broken heart to heal. I'm an 81 year old lady living in Perth Australia and recently had to say goodbye to my beloved Shilo. She had been my best friend and companion for 16 years and of course I was shattered when she had to leave. :( Since finding 'Sitting with dogs' my heart is gradually beginning to heal some and I'm not crying quite so much, I look forward to watching your show every day which gives me my 'doggy fix'. You are so kind, patient and understanding to the poor little darlings who end up in the shelter. Thank you and thanks to the team too. Bless you. Love you all. Jackie

I HATE seeing a dog lose its light, especially when it's caused by a stupid human.
Please, someone adopt this little bomba🙏❤️🐕

People need to understand that a lot of aggressive or “mean” dogs are just traumatized or scared.

I just lost my little Jack Russell and I can tell this little one will be an amazing addition for any household! She’s bright, warm, compassionate, and probably playful when she’s comfortable. She’ll make a great companion!

What a cutie! My dog was dumped in the middle of a busy parking lot last March. I was able to rescue him and eventually adopt him after nobody came forward to claim him. He’s so sweet and loving too. He’s already overcome so much and he’s learning to trust again. Named him Lucky.❤

That little cattle dog in the next kennel looking up to heaven, hearing "you're a good dog!" Priceless!

Please keep us posted on Ryder. She was adorable and she so wanted to be petted but was so afraid ❤️

I just had a terrible day, a lot of human ugly came my way... and then Rocky popped up, and my faith in humanity is restoring. Happy place returning. Inner smile warming my heart. Thank you everyone for making this world a better place.

The fact that she came to sniff you a couple times and moved closer to you is huge progress plus the ear movements when you talk to her is such a relief. Thank you for what you do ❤

Our Boy Rex was dumped on the highway as a pup. We foster failed with him. He’s very damaged emotionally. Been 2 years and still can’t be around other people. Thanks for helping the animals. We need more good humans like you.

My friend, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your big heart, your strength, your sensitivity, your tenacity, and your patience. If there were more people like you, the world would be a better place. Those who misbehave with animals are deeply frustrated, unable to manage their anger, sick, or, more simply, evil; I cannot call them human, much less animal. Thank you!

What a gorgeous baby ❤ I don't understand why black dogs and cats are so overlooked in shelters. I personally prefer black pets 🥰

We rescued our sweet Cassie. She was in a shelter for 2 years. She had signs of abuse. We brought her home and retained a wonderful trainer who taught us to read her language. It took several months. She was the best girl for the 7 years we had her. I miss her so much. Never give up. Love and patience (as well as treats) heals hearts. Yours and the dog.

This dog is adorable. Perfect size. Perfect color. Expressive, thoughtful eyes. Wish my circumstances were different. Praying for a perfect home for this one.
