故金あかりさんは、陶芸についてそう話します。
海綿で色を置き、土を積み重ね、一つずつ形をつくる。
同じ型から量産することもできるけれど、あえてそうはしない。
少し歪みやすい今の作り方だからこそ、
一つひとつの形が毎回違ってくる。
「それがいい。」
その言葉には、故金さんのものづくりに
対する姿勢がよく表れているように思います。
岐阜県多治見市を拠点に制作する陶芸家、故金あかりさん。
器をつくる仕事を続けながら、
近年はより大きな作品や壁掛けの作品など、
少しずつアートの側へと表現を広げています。
完全にどちらかへ移るのではなく、
器と作品、その両方を行き来しながら、
自分の表現を探っていく。
今回の映像では、故金さんの制作風景と作品、
そして日々の暮らしを訪ねました。
素材に触れ、自分の手でつくりながらも、
すべてを自分で決め切ろうとはしない。
土や火、偶然に少しだけ余白を渡しながら、
時間をかけて表現を深めていく。

1995 Born in Japan ,Gifu Prefecture.
2019 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Crafts and Industrial Design.
2022 Graduated from the Tajimi City Ceramics Design Institute Lab Course.
Currently based in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture.I exhibit my work both in Japan and overseas.
故金あかり
1995 年 岐阜県生まれ。2019 年武蔵野美術大学工芸工業デザイン学科卒業。2022 年多治見
市陶磁器意匠研究所ラボコース卒業。現在、岐阜県多治見市を拠点に作家活動を行い、国内
外で作品を発表している。
ABOUT MY WORK
When I saw an old jar, I was attracted to the warmth, generosity, and inner strength of the
clay material, as well as the delicate texture of the clay.
I hand-build the jar to bring out the best in the clay, and I incorporate the distortions and
changes in shape that occur during firing into my works, viewing them as beautiful, natural
changes.
My works are inspired by antique and natural objects.
I consider textures that are conscious of the appearance of antiques, and the colors of my
works from combinations of colors found in nature, such as soil, mountains, plants, and the
sky, as well as colors found in everyday life. I am conscious of natural lines when it comes to
the shape.
I choose from a variety of techniques to suit the piece, such as using a potter's wheel, hand-
building, and tatara molding using plaster molds.
ある古い壺を見た時、土という素材が持つ温かさやおおらかさ、内にある力強さ、そして繊
細な土肌に魅力を感じました。
土の良さを引き出すように手びねりで形作り、焼成による歪みや形の変化を自然な美しい
変化と捉えながら作品に生かしています。
作品は、古い物や、自然物から着想を得ています。
古物のような表情を意識したテクスチャーと、土や、山、植物や、空など自然の中にある色
彩や、日常の中で見つけた色の組み合わせから作品の色彩を考えます。 形は自然な線を意識
しています。
作品に合わせて、轆轤、手捻り、石膏型を使ったたたら成形、など様々な技法を選択して制
作しています。
