Eduard Martlet Mk. III 1:48 Desert Camo, yes really!

The Scale Modelling Cafe with Jamie Haggo

Welcome to this debrief style video. I built this for me, no filming however I thought I'd do a quick debrief type video. This is actually a desert based Martlet MK.III in a scheme inspired by research by historian and Author Paul Lucas.

Great build, Jamie! Really interesting camo scheme. But call me old-fashioned — I still prefer the ‘classic’ two-tone brown desert camo. 😉

A beautiful rendition of a very unusual scheme. 😍👍

Fantastic looking model! I really enjoyed building one last year in TSS but that tiny, wobbly, finicky undercart had me worried - until the glue set and it’s ridiculously sturdy 😂
And thanks for the nod on the Orbit drill a few vids back, grabbed one and it’s a brilliant bit of kit, exactly what I needed.

That is the most cool looking Martlet I’ve seen and I’m a Martlet/wildcat fan..
As ever a wonderful video brimming with good information and tips, which I’ve saved to watch again..
In these busy days I have to choose my viewing and Jen’s and your channel are my go to..Thank you for keeping your videos under 45 mins.I find I learn more from videos under 45 mins as long vids are great but sometimes hard to take all in..Please don’t get me wrong and you make videos the length you want..I’m not a video producer and it’s just my dumb limited attention span..
Thank you again and all the best from Blighty ✌️🇬🇧👍

That is a fine looking Martlet, the colours look just right. I had a quick look at the undercarriage assembly from mine in the stash, oh joy!

Now I need to convince my wife I need 2 1/32 Wildcats lol. I'm definitely going to steal your scheme, and now I want to see a Martlet in the standard desert scheme lol.
