Netflix's Physical 100 is the perfect test of how well a professional climber can compete against professional athletes from all disciplines. In a Squid Game like competition, only 1 athlete will win.

I like how this series has slowly morphed from "climbers have an advantage in physical gameshows" to "climbers are the most superior athletes in world"

Sand is a bunch of little boulders is such a good quote 😆

The 5 way tug-of-war was basically just a slab problem.

"he can heel hook"
proceeds to show clip of him slamming his heel into a dudes face 😭 why am I laughing so hard at this

@catchingfeelings2691 2 years ago

He's also a mountain rescue, national ice climber and pro climber.

For the rope pull finale, the other competitor was actually way out in front but then the production team had them re-film it 2-3 times, cutting the rope shorter each time. This made the other competitor lose his advantage and completely changed the challenge into a test of endurance, which led the crossfitter to win. Lots of controversy surrounding the final result

how would rock climbing even help when in a fight?? HEEL HOOK TO THE FACE

@WhoIsKai000 3 years ago

the 5 way tug of war would have been fun if there were little crimps on the ground lmao

Oof I didn't realize there was as an English dub for this. It is god awful haha.

the misfit team winning was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! and ofc the old and wise team! most of the super buff teams weren't very smart even by the end lol

@peterarbeitsloser1746 3 years ago

i love the chalk up before every challange, also the heelhook to the face. Great video!

Gotta give a huge shoutout to the climber for almost surviving the tug of war just by unlocking his lock faster than the other guy. If he had given a good tug to the rope at the right time, he might have fouled up the snowboarder's unlocking attempt enough.

I'd prefer they do a show like this with point scoring rather than survival style. Because the order of events matters too much this way.
Imagine a group of 4 strongman competitors and 1 sprinter. The first event is a test of absolute strength so the sprinter is eliminated, but the next event is a 100meter dash (with only the 4 strongmen competing)

"Sand is just a bunch of little boulders" and bags are aid. I wanna see him crimp each grain across individually without cutting feet.

I’m so happy you commentated over this show.
I binged the shit out of it a while back and had no one to discuss with.

BAM heel hook to the face!

@MrPinguinzz 3 years ago

Fuck, i laughed too hard on those obscure climber jokes
"Sand is just a bunch of little boulders" gave me a headache from laughing

@roxdeath8326 3 years ago

actually there was a lot of controversy for the last challenge. the crossfitter lost twice, they had to refilm this 3 times. he only won the last time and thats the one they put out
