Came for the climbing, stayed for the Dayan-Hamish bromance

Insane that Josh inadvertently funded the greatest climbing trip ever - the one where Hamish did both Megatron and No One Mourns the Wicked in a few weeks. Good job, Josh!

A duo Japan trip is the best possible outcome for this comp I think, excellent idea

They totally earned that. And the route setters did an outstanding job of creating this masterpiece, so shout out to them, as well. I'm curious to know how long they actually worked on that boulder?

Why put toby on the thumbnail. When he isn't even trying the boulder?

Idea: do this for lead, but have the route split off in 3 different directions, all different difficulty, different levels of prize money at the end of each one.

I really hope this video does well and you'll have the opportunity to do more of this stuff in the future. Such a fun video

This was honestly one of the best climbing yt videos I've watched in ages. Would be really cool to see it as a series with different pros, also great exposure for lesser known pros.

This isn’t a diss, but the fact that a YouTuber is able to afford financing this while one of the best climbers in the world would like to win the comp so he can finance a trip to Japan speaks volume on how messed up the climbing industry is. Love the channel Josh, and you put a lot of work in your videos so you absolutely deserve to make a good living, but Dayan makes finals really regularly at world cups and shouldn’t have to think about money if he wants to go train at b pump… brands and federations, do better and pay those guys more !

I have to say this is one of the best indoor bouldering videos I’ve seen in a long while! Amazing to see a bunch of pro climbers just trying freaking HARD on something difficult over and over again. Great editing and great video!👍

Epic Format, Dude. Rarely commenting on YT-Videos but this one is so worth to support!

After watching this and listening to Hamish on the careless talk podcast he seems like such a genuine and solid character. What a legend!

Such a good idea Josh, love it, hope we get to see this again

Can't wait for part two of this video following the boys to Japan 🎉🎉🎉

That’s a hell of boulder🥵👏

I'd def watch more of this format

Great concept, boulder, and climbers!  Loved the Dayan-Hamish Japan outcome!   And Hamish saying it's one of his best comp experiences ever as well!

That was awesome!  Hamish is such a BEAST!

This is one of the best videos you've done.

That was so much fun to watch, really hope you'll do something like this again!
