I think lily wrote the note. A lot of signs point to that theory. We see that she writes a lot all over the factory, the prototype didn’t know that she was leaving her house and gallivanting around the factory. She was an employee as well. It’s not so far removed to think that Ms. Gracie came out in a second of madness, wrote the note, sent it, and forgot after she turned back into Lily. That’s the only plausible explanation I have.
My theory is that Preston did write the letter but didn't send it. Remember that some of the smiling critters actually got out, what if he handed the letter and tape to one of them to send? They wouldn't of needed to know the player, just that the evenople needed sent somewhere, and us knowing Preston was actually nice to the experiments, makes sense why they would do his request. Theory for thought?
9:40 I disagree with this part. Kissy did not “trick” the prototype. If you look closely at her arms before Lily is smacked, Kissy is tied up by Lily. The Prototype, intimidating poppy, accidentally breaks her literally (prototype shakes in shock right as he does it). The prototype was distracted by this, which allowed Lily to try to take Poppy, which made the Prototype angrily lash out at her, Kissy is now free, and then the Prototype was attacked due to him letting his guard down.
The Prototype breaking poppy caused a chain of events that allowed you to escape and Kissy to attack, which is cool. Because the prototype had you right where he wanted, but lost at that moment due to his own actions. Poetic
My theory is that the prototype’s original voice is Ollie because in one of the VHS tapes it talks about Ollie being adopted and meeting her younger sister which was poppy is what it said and in another one it talks about Ollie turning in to the prototype since his voice changes a little bit and Elliot Ludwig calls him the prototype instead of Ollie
Mommy long legs didn't kill us UNTIL we gave her a reason to. (We cheated on a game.) And all of the characters that were tasked with killing the player were instructed by the prototype, following the prototype's plans and commands; that's probably why, honestly.
I like to think that the player is a human that was attacked and experimented on, like the toys did to the woman that became lily, but that we were able to escape halfway through transformation, which is why we have the knowledge of the factory from being there as an employee but also we don't need food or water and can take a lot of damage cause we are part toy.
i also thought the prototype was just recording/playing back voices rather than truly "mimicking" them, but then in the tape where we hear oliver and ludwig talking, his voice changed when he got agitated. so i think it could be a combination of both
Our sense of smell is connected to our sense of taste too, so even if a character doesn't have a nose they can still have a way to perceive smell. I doubt it's as effective as having a nose but it can still work.
the player was probably someone who worked with the kids or something, because Miss Delight and Mommy Long Legs both worked with kids. That explains why the sawyer (think that's his name, not too familiar with the franchise" didn't recgonzise the player, so they weren't too high up in the hierchy
First yeah ollies voice is the real voice of the prototype because hes literally ollie himself. Second rich was promoted by leith and eddie to one of the higher ups to screw his good reputation on the other workers, which is confirmed by a recording in chapter 5. I think it happened after they turned harley into the doctor so thats why he doesnt recognize him despite being an important figure. Thats likely also why he dreamed of guilt haunts you and being unhappy with where he are and what hes DONE because he knew about the experiments but didnt do anything against it.
I wanna contest the Kissy claim: many details from the experiment 1172 report have hinted at the experiment being Kissy, mainly due to her behaviours we observe in the game. Let's not forget one important detail: the orphan had a passion for writing and drawing. If that orphan truly is 1172: Kissy Missy, then I don't see why she wouldn't be able to write & send that letter
12:35 by using this sentence almost everysingle experiment would be out,but notice the "we're"is written "where'd"it probably means it was a child the player knew and trusted
For the Kissy Missy fact it actually wasn't the prototype it was actually Simon Smoke from the nightmare critters because he's a dragon so that's probably what the burnt marks are from.
