Who Were the Monsters in Poppy Playtime Before?

Every single monster in Poppy Playtime used to be a person. Not in some vague metaphorical way, literally. They had names, lives, fears. Most of them were kids. And I don't think the community sits with that long enough. In this video I go through all of them, one by one. Who they were before the experiments, what Playtime Co. did to them, and what pieces of their humanity are still in there. Some of these stories are genuinely hard to talk about, but I think they deserve the full breakdown.
Thanks for watching!

My favorite thing about all this is how even though prototype went through for the transformation from his “dad”. Is that he still trys his best to take care of poppy even when she was technically speaking the cause of his transformation. He still acts like a big brother towards her.

from what I heard about the Poppy Gel, I think it has some kind of healing properties, I mean, why else is the Employee still alive from a fatal backstab?, this gel saved their lives.

I remember that there were two different versions of Bron. There was the smaller version which had the adult in it and then there was the bigger version which was the kid in it.
Also, Jack's story is actually a lot more sadder than originally thought. His mother was with him when he fell into the vat and the company managed to convince the parents to have him be medically experimented on. Later on down the line the parents actually went to meet Jack and he ended up killing them both.

Also, I remember a theory about huggy wuggy. When he escaped the company, the first time there was video evidence of him standing in front of a house. Apparently some people believe that the house he was standing in front of was actually the house that he believed or he thought was his old house.

Unlike his company,Eliot never brainwashed his experiments

In the game, the player has never spoken once. There must be a reason, right?

There’s also the door in the lobby of playtime Co. that requires the red AND blue hand to open but we never did, so what if there is something behind that door that might be the main theme of chapter 6?

The thing that keeps me thinking is who sent the letter that caused the player to come back to the factory because based on Poppy being in the cabinet at the end of Chapter 1 it shouldn’t be Her as she was in the cabinet for roughly around ten years based of information in the game but in Chapter 5 the Prototype Words says stats it wasn’t him ether as he said bringing an outsider into their home? so who sent the letter

Your channel is too underrated. This is a fantastic video.

The way I see it is that the player doesn't get put into poppy gel by the prototype.
I believe it's actually Poppy herself who is carried to these containers of gel by the prototype, since the player gets impaled in front of that door with Giblet and after blacking out and the cutscene with the prototype wakes up in the same place with Giblet without any visible proof that he was in the poppy gel at all.

So we're just gonna overlook that the prototype was turning smiling critters inside out when they opposed him or supported poppy? Giblet is the perfect example and he did in fact work with the prototype, he was punished for not being able to unalive people as easily as the other critters... Js
