How does a Doctor kill 250 patients without anybody being like “hey, this guy is either a murderer or the most shit doctor in history.”

Okay wtf was going on in the late 70s

It wasn't the 70s when serial killers had become more rampant, that's just when we realized they existed and started catching them and connecting the dots.

The fact that they let Lopez go on good behavior is wild

Notice how so many of these had awful childhoods. Still no excuse, but it goes to show how important it is to have proper care for your child as a parent.

BTK asked the police detective who was trying to catch him if using a floppy disk would enable him to communicate with the police without them being able to track him. Of course they said yes and he sent them one. When they were able to trace it back to a specific computer and arrest him, he felt betrayed.
I find that hilarious on several levels.

someone needs to keep an eye on that guy in the comments pointing out every single mistake. he might be our next case 😭😭😭

Before the cops caught Dahmer, they actually had been called to his place earlier that year because one of his victims had escaped and caused a scene outside so the cops got called. Dahmer convinced them it was just a lover's quarrel and  instead of arresting either of them or investigating further, they gave the young man back to Dahmer, where he then ended the kid in his apartment. Imagine escaping with a hole drilled in your skull, the cops show up and you're relieved that it's finally over. Only for them to hand you right back to the guy who was just trying to pour boiling water onto your brain.

“Holmes’ criminal activities extended beyond the murder castle, as he would also commit insurance fraud.” Is an INCREDIBLE sentence.

Andrei Chikatilo legit looks like “what if stranger danger was a person.”

That Albert Fish guy seems like a real jerk.

The Zodiac Killer’s last message to the police was him mocking the police for not capturing him and the last message was “ Zodiac- 12      SFPD- 0”

7Os an era of serial killers

Fun fact, Albert Fish’s granddaughter Tabatha is located in Southern California to this day. Both she and her father refuse to acknowledge Albert’s existence but she still had his last name as of four years ago. Every now and again I see her at the local 7-11. True story.

0:10 my man looking like lord farquad

This only scratches the surface of the serial killers out there. Also there are plenty that were smarter and have never been caught!

The most-chilling thing about Ted Bundy for me is the fact that he worked as a suicide-prevention hotline worker in his 20s or 30s. Simultaneous to this, I believe that he'd already committed some of his earliest killings

My mom served BTK back in the early 2000s she said her and the other waitresses would flip a coin on who had to take him because he never tipped.

It’s astounding how many of these targeted kids 😢
