For years, psychologists asked one question about men who stopped dating: "What's wrong with him?" Now some female psychologists are asking a very different one: "Why would he come back?"

Millions of men have gone financially celibate. They stopped paying for expensive dates, stopped spending on dating apps, and stepped away from the old script of ring, wedding and mortgage. They weren't angry, and nobody organized it. They looked at what modern dating costs and what they get back, and decided the deal isn't worth it anymore. The part nobody expected is that many of them seem to be doing fine.

In this video I look at what female therapists and researchers are finally saying out loud: why detachment is not the same as anger, why "what's wrong with men?" is the wrong question, why shame has never brought anyone back, and why the real question is "what's actually in it for him?"

📌 The men didn't disappear. They made a choice.

Have you seen this happening in your friend group or your city? Tell me in the comments. I read them.
