I look so slow because I am slow. 🐢

Exactly the video I needed - earned a sub! Now I wish this same video existed for snowboarding…

The issue with mounting an action camera to the visor of a half shell helmet is that so very few of them have a visor that allows a mount to be attached. All my vids are done with a chest mount since it's the only method I can really use. I have a full face helmet I could mount my camera on but I don't ever really ride any terrain that is worthy of using a full face helmet lol.

Great content, good presentation, straight forward honesty and what works, what doesn’t, and simple tips. I need to work on post production 😂 as with the X5 360 it can be frustrating at times. And don’t even get me started about all the music I’ve bought over the years and can’t use. Thanks for the new content -

The insta360 app is so easy to use. I’ve gone from the x3 to the x6, and I edit all my 360 footage in the app.

I like the Ace Pro 2 - just need to get better at editing… attempting an edit now on Davinci Resolve 21. Wish me luck lol. The only other thing about that camera is that the battery life shocks me how short it is. I feel like it’s maybe 15 or 20 minutes and then the batteries’s done in 4K/30. So definitely bring spare batteries.

You can choose landscape or portrait ratios with insta's editing software

Great location

Great video.
I'm curious about what mount you use for under the visor though. The base of the mounts that I've seen are either flat or convex, and visors are usually concave.

Its crazy how good the Ace Pro 2 is. I like doing color correction and stuff, but I've always ran full auto settings with the Ace Pro 2. Its super accurate. Best audio out of any action camera too

In most races the rules are no chest, visor or chin mounts due to risk of compression injury from the camera and mount in a crash. That's why you have no choice but to mount on your helmet where it's out of the way.
