Next time you have to hitch hike have your canoe paddle with you, this lets people know you are a river paddler and will usually stop to give you a ride. I live close to that area, and used to camp down by the river at 2 o clock creek. I hope you had time to do the Siffler Falls hike across the suspension bridge, it is pretty cool. That part of the river has a lot of current all the way to Rocky Mountain House, it is fun to paddle as you cover a lot of distance every day.

For years I’ve watched a TON of outdoor you tube content.  Your content has been so captivating in all areas, and has drawn me in with both your extremely likable personalities and laid back energy and flow.  I’m so glad you popped into my feed.  I have yet to explore central Canadian Provinces, only Alberta, BC, Yukon, and NWT, but your trips are giving me future plans I can not wait to also explore.  I think your video and audio quality was just fine here.  Well done.  Am enjoying watching your channel grow.

I live in Alberta and have paddled the North Saskatchewan River several times, and agree that it is a very beautiful river!  It looks like you paddled the section upstream of the Forestry Road bridge.  I recommend that you paddle the section downstream too; it has some big rapids that you can either run or avoid.  Another great river in the mountains and with rapids is the Kootenay River in southeast BC.
