What Advent Calendar are you getting this year?

@margiesews 10 months ago

That second one is butter beer!

@newbeginnings-myeverydaylife 10 months ago

can you imagine todays kids getting the advent calendars in my time that only had a picture as you opened each door.

@Sarah_b_curiouser 9 months ago

I truly appreciate the calendars that are giving you your tools outside of one of the actual days. That's such a nicer way to do things instead of having to "waste" a day

What you missed about the Grabbie calenear is that all boxes are grouped into several kits/activities. So it is not just about getting a bunch of markers, but being able to complete several creative projects by the time Christmas rolls around. I think this adds value to the supplies you are getting.

I can't afford any advent calendars - so I just watch the videos

Hello! This was actually the coolest video! Thank you for sharing! I am a small business owner getting started.. kinda . (Been trying to get things going for the last 4 years). I have had in my thoughts about creating an Advent calendar since last year, but I didn't know where to start, or what or how. You have shown me so many different styles and this helps. But also that other small businesses have created special ones in what their brand sells. So, this year for Christmas, I will be creating one to hand out as Christmas gifts to my family and friends to get feed back and thoughts on it. Then, this way I can prepare for next year. So I just want to say thank you for helping me and how excited I am to try my hands at creating one based on what I make and sell. BTW, don't feel bad about buying a duped Advent calendar. Honestly, it is really an insight into what to watch out for. It is really disheartening when another feels the need to take another is that they worked hard to create, and sell them as their creation. I was selling on Etsy, several on their decided to take my idea and make them, (the quality is not the same however), and sell them 90% cheaper than mine. I could find the money to copyright my design, and what I call them, (someone on Etsy to what I make my items I made, referred the names, and was selling them while mine sat dormant). But copyrighting my ideas is not to protection from another stealing unless you can afford high time lawyers and go after those who steal your designs, name and etc. Anyway. You getting a duped Advent calendar helps others know the difference. I also love that you included your children. Now if you have dogs, I do know there is also ones out there for pets.

Anyway, thank you so much! Amazing video and I learned of many different styles and ways to create an Advent Calendar that fits what I make.

My kids started with chocolate calendars too. Next, we've tried braclet sets, Legos, and science kits. This year we'll try slim making. It's amazing how many different calendars there are. 😊

From one Advent Calendar junkie to another, thank you! I have the Spellbinders one along with Stampin Up. Can’t wait for December 😍!

@phyllisblinn2335 10 months ago

I stumbled upon you today and loved loved all these amazing Advent Calendars. Much better for me than makeup and bath bombs. My favorites are the puzzle one and the Kay Studios one.

I do my own advent calendar for my therapist each year…she’s also a very good friend. I do the flannel checked bags with wooden numbers. This year the theme is “These are a few of my favorite things.” I got mini Dior lipsticks, Dior perfume, lotions, teas, Starbucks and Barnes and Noble gift cards, chocolates, sugar cookie mix with cookie cutters, junk journaling supplies, eye shadow palette, Rare Beauty minis and other items to make up the 25 days. I love doing it for her!

I love the junk journal and watercolor advent calendar from ESTY

I had no idea there were advent calendars for so many hobbies. Thanks for getting so many different ones and sharing them with us! Looks like you and your family are going to have tons of fun with those! Thanks for providing a paper crafting kit as well. I haven't done advent calendars since my kids were young (they are now 30-ish). I am going to revive that tradition this year! Thanks for reminding me how much fun these are. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and wish you and yours Happy Holidays.
