The invisible glitch in mission 2 is done like this: it's not the guy on top of the fence that you do it to. Take that guy out.  Then what you do is you climb down the fence and as you make your way to the right those Williams appear. Take one of them out first and then with the second one lead him to the top left edge of the red beam and climb up the fence.

Scroll the screen to the left so the Williams disappears. Then make your way back and climb down the fence and then he will be invisible but you can wail on him and get all your hearts..

This is one of those nes games i still play occasionally and probably always will, it never gets old, its also one of those games where i much prefer the nes version over the arcade version, there's something about the feel of OG nes DD that the arcade version just doesn't capture, when i was a kid i was borderline obsessed with this game, its so much fun.  GG

The level of nostalgia I have for this game is huge; I don't even bother playing any other versions. Being a introvert, I have no problems with solo beat'em ups like this game or Final Fight for SNES.

Great work getting through in one piece - styling on the big bad with one block of health was really impressive! I actually really like this version of double dragon both gameplay wise and aesthetically. Bought a copy for my famicom and always great to play on a whim but I find the falling stalactites and pushing blocks really hard to deal with. Need to work on finally completing it.

Those tracks running up the wall near the end of stage 1 make me wonder…Was there originally going to be something there? Because you can go up and down on them yourself for whatever reason.
Oh, I remember doing that invisible enemy trick in stage 2, too. But I also can’t remember how to do it.
