“They thought they were looking at their next World Champion, and they were. They were just looking at the wrong guy.” God I love Chris Hero.

Bret Hart having Bret Hart matches playing in the background of a Bret Hart barbecue is the most Bret Hart thing ever :)

I love Bret Hart. You are never going to meet a nicer guy than him. I met him in 1999 when I was a kid. I was overcoming anorexia and he was very kind and compassionate. I told him I wanted to be big and strong like him. He told me to lift heavy and eat Canadian Beef. We both laughed. He probably won’t remember this interaction, but he would be proud to know that I overcame it and listened to his advice. Love you, Bret. Bret was like a second father figure to me as I watched him as a kid growing up on Saturday morning wrestling. Today, I am 248.3 pounds.

WWE missed a Golden opportunity to have Bret Hart and Tom Magee have their reaction at the end of the match.

Glad to see Tom alive and well, too many from that era are not.

Bret Hart made Tom Magee look like a superstar,
But exposed when he faced others...

The documentary that solidified Bret as the G.O.A.T.

I loved the part in this documentary when the man himself shows up. Wish they could have gotten Bret and Tom in the same room to discuss the match and the circumstances around it.

Damn, Harry’s impersonation of Bret’s voice is spot on that it’s actually scary!

Another holy grail that needs to be posted: Jake The Snake Roberts DDT'ing Hulk Hogan on the Snake Pit.

He looks like either: alternate universe Warrior or Von Erich body double. The boy's a stud!

I am 44 years old and i have been a WWE fan since i can remember. And in my humble opinion, Bret Hart is Like Maradona for football... Still today no one can replace Bret Hart. I cannot be a fan of no one else from his retirement. Bret was magic in the ring. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Bret made everyone he wrestled against look good. He was always more interested in putting on a great match.

What this really showed me was how great Jimmy Hart's megaphone gimmick was. Hearing that extra level of commentary really added something, and Hart was incredibly fluent at it.

Tom McGee was my camp counsellor back in 1980 in Winnipeg when I was 6. I remember he was really strong and did a lot of cool dives off the pool diving board.
