It’s always good to listen to another fisherman and take what he says or she says under consideration, but it all boils down to you making your own decisions. God bless great video.

Love the frustration, desperation and banter! There's nothing worse than when your mate is pulling them out and whatever you do nothing sticks! Another great video - Thanks Shaun

This is the place I caught my first ever trout on the fly, love your clips given me some good advice

Very lucky to have such clear water 💦 very much enjoyed your fishing trip

Great video mate, was good to see what a days fishing was like with you. Keep up the good work

Great video Shaun , loved that stunning water , an god I wish I could cast like you 👍👍

Looked like he was fishing to deep, considering a fish toke on the drop the moment it hit the water

Definitely stunning water.  A couple of really nice fish in the net.  Nice to see you in a new location

Happy New Year Shaun. Enjoyed the video and seeing somewhere different. Good to see it's not just me that struggles to figure out what the fish want some days! Always learning. Looking forward to watching the future video on your thoughts about the day.

Good video again Shaun and the fishery looks stunning...fished a fishery in  Carlisle with similar clear water and it was very difficult too and I don't think there's anything worse than when u can see them and they just ignore every fly u pull past them!!🙈🙈🤷🏼‍♂️😂😂

Another great vid Shaun. Looks like you enjoyed yourself, which is what it's all about. Should of had a swear jar with you though 😂 All the best !

Nice one Shaun, you can't catch them all mate, happy new year to you.

Hi Shaun. Happy New Year. This is my local water, only live 5 miles away. Can be quite a difficult place to fish on its day. Always nice to see what approach other anglers take on your local water. There another few nice fisheries in the area if you ever want a pointer. Cheers Shaun.

Such a nice clear Lake. And that was a solid fish your pal caught.

We enjoyed that Shaun. Thats for sharing that.

Great stuff Shaun.
I consider myself a decent fisherman,  but there are some who are just another level. They have something different.  Sometimes they even just seem to lift the rod randomly and have a fish on. Do they see micro movements that we dont? Do they impart movement to the fly that we don't see etc.
I can remember an occasion at Ellerdine in early summer when the fishing was getting tough. I had had nothing. Ed Upton comes up to me. I cast a couple of times and catch nowt. We have a chat about my rod...I give it to him and say have a cast.....which he does...easily sending the line out way further than me. He doesn't retrieve....I watch the line like a hawk. Nothing.... He lifts the rod.  Fish on. Madness.

Great vid, His retrieving was completely different to yours!

Stunning fishing mate! Gin clear water was a surprise in that top lake. Will give that place a go when I'm in Hereford/Monmouth next - assuming the Fish Magnet has left some for the rest of us. Great video  - see you Sun 6 feb; will text you. All the best, Max

As you know, love your vids, but not to keen on this fishery....the first lake is like fishing in back garden,  I am sure it's great, but not for me......   I see Justin is at it again....🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣😂😂😂

Brilliant video again shaun, it looked like a cracking place to fish as well mate hope all is well
