The quest is such a grind...But I'm gonna be honest, I like Algernon. He's a bit hoity-toity, but he's sincere enough, and shows Arthur plenty of respect and warmth despite Arthur obviously being kind of a pleb, I can't help but find him endearing.
I remember spending hours upon hours over several weeks searching for the plumes and orchids and finally getting this pistol and then....never using it
After my 2nd playthrough I learned to start collecting the stuff for this guy right away! Especially the plumes! You open this quest and suddenly them birds go extinct! Lol
The trick is to start stocking up early. You see one of them birds. Kill it! You see an orchid, pick it. Then by the time you get to chapter 5, you will already have most of what is required.
Missions like this are why RDR2 is THE best video game ever made. There is nothing better than the story and character interactions. The grinding for materials is a bit tedious, but the payoff in the cut scenes is brilliant. Thanks for postng this. I never did these missions for exactly this grind
Kind of liked the hat though... A gun and a hat, after all that chat. And what? No cat? I love this game, dispite it's flawes. All good games have them, bare and grin...
You want a corsette? No i ride alot n the whale bone might stick in!! Just laughed most of this part during gameplay(i had also been awake for almost 2 days so might be that also??) But its a funny part in the game...i mean arthur sitting down drinking TEA and talking about these little NYMPHS from belgium(didnt know what it was until i played this game) so know i have 100s of Nymphs in my home LOL!! so was it just me seeing the funny in this part n this moment of the game???
Thanks 4 video
It took more than 200 hours to get this rare gun - RDR2
