Oh wow!!! Thank you so much for the feature for a whole video!!! Means a lot to me!! Feels surreal to see a video like this about my work
I’m glad you enjoyed the VHS series
Always cool to go back to see my older art
Also your pretty much on point with your interpretation with the series and I loved example of YouTube kids to describe the series vibe
The main theme for the series that I was kinda getting at was how producer/executives hijack Artist’s work to become something there not and ruin it
But also everyone can have different interpretations of these videos so don’t let my idea change how you see it!
Interpretation is what makes art great! We all have a different perspective on things
Also I agree that series gets a bit convoluted at the end and in general
Sorry for the long comment but I’m really glad you enjoyed my weird art!! Thank you so much again for the support and hope you have a great day!!

I love how wowman sounds chill after watching and talking about traumatized vhs horror

“It starts off innocent enough showing the moon with its insides ripped out.” Probably the funniest quote

I know this is supposed to be scary but the little “hello?” From the pumpkin was so precious 😭

Nathan Frost’s work deserves more recognition. He can make claymation incredibly unsettling so well.

I remember being left with trauma after watching somethings that were VERY disturbing as a child. Each night I would cry, remembering the noises and horrib!e things shown. the creepy part was that, when I told my parents, they looked it up and it was as though it never existed.

0:55 bruh, tf did Edd do, he legit just existed😭

this genuinely made me feel unwell.

the audio was skin crawling, with all the crunchy sounds cutting through the VHS static, the distorted synths and text to speech voices.

the visuals legit made me feel sick, like, in the canon of this work of fiction, it's supposed to be a typical kid's show that becomes horrifying as it goes on, but even at the beginning, it all felt like a cough syrup fever dream.

the claymation kinda reminds me of Lee Hardcastle, with that type of claymation that despite having fingerprints on everything, the clay moves like how clay would move if it could move by itself... if that makes sense... regardless, anything that reminds me of Hamster Hell will automatically trigger me.

most of these analog horror things, i can watch it just fine, but with this, i had to play the video with the picture-in-picture feature as small as possible while scrolling through cat toe beans on Google images, so i don't fully take in the horror, because i already struggle with sleep without the help of these claymations from hell.

i'm honestly too freaked out to know if i like it or not, because i appreciate the creativity, but at the same time, i think i'll have to sleep with the lights on for a while because those images are burned into my mind and i have a feeling i'll be seeing the Funny Face Man in the shadows...

THANK YOU FOR SHOWING FOOTAGE OF AND MENTIONING THE CHUCK E CHEESE CLOCK RIDE. that shit was my favorite thing ever as a kid and I never even see chuck e cheese focused videos talk about it. Seeing someone else speak its name out loud makes me feel a little less insane thank you for remembering the sacred seat

6:27 he looks like 😱

You be televised is him just saying he's going to kill you like Mr. Teeth or the pumpkin man. I love that detail.

This feels like the subject matter of a story that parents would tell their kids in order to make them think twice about staying up past their bedtime. Especially the ending of the last one.

This is reminding me of watching the weirdest TV shows I could find as a kid and not only not being afraid, but watching and laughing along like it was any other kids show. Tbf, I grew up watching horror movies with my dad, cause he was awesome, so something would have to be REALLY out there to even make me flinch. When you're a kid, how the character acts is everything, not simply how they appear; as a kid, I could see an Eldritch abomination twisted enough to drive a man mad, but if it was acting like a cute little puppy, chasing its tail, yipping, rolling around in the grass, I'd go 'awww' just like I would if it was a normal dog.

If this was real it would have been terrifying

This is honestly incredibly reminiscent of Local 58, especially with the text at 10:23 being reminiscent of the scene in which the broadcaster has fallen under the control of the Moon, and says “we will look together”

I'm not sure what's scarier. The videos or the actual clock ride at Chuckie Cheese.

11:19. That show was called, "Talespin."

In the Funny Face Man episode, ISTG the slowed babies crying is so damn disturbing. It’s kinda random when played in normal speed, but when I found out it was babies crying by speeding it up, I was on the brink of tears. I didn’t think it was babies crying at first, I thought it was people moaning. That’s definitely how children would react if they saw someone killing themselves by shifting their face though.

Bruh, this is so creepy.😭
