What happens when you finally stop trying to control everything and surrender your life to God?

In this powerful message, Matt Chandler teaches from the Beatitudes and reveals why Jesus says, “Blessed are the poor in spirit.” True spiritual strength begins when we recognize that we cannot save, heal, or rule our lives perfectly on our own.

Matt Chandler reminds us that God does not waste our highs or our lows. Every season can become part of the journey through which Christ forms and transforms us.

Through this message, Matt Chandler challenges us to lay down pride, self-sufficiency, control, success, and the need to prove ourselves before God. We come to Him with empty hands, trusting His grace.

Matt Chandler explains that Jesus is a better King. His wisdom, correction, peace, forgiveness, presence, and power are greater than the tiny kingdoms we try to build for ourselves.

If you feel weary, stuck, broken, confused, or far from God, this sermon from Matt Chandler is a reminder: Jesus does not despise your weakness. Come to Him as you are, surrender control, and trust the King who knows the way forward.

🙏 May this message strengthen your faith and help you live with settled confidence in God through every changing circumstance.
