Hearing "the late JDF" will never not hurt. No celebrity death has hit or stuck with me the way his has, especially given the circumstances. Was a childhood hero and I'll always be grateful for that.

Sad note aside, really enjoyed this retrospective.

I love how everyone just agrees that Billy was a nerd for like 10 episodes and then just gets ridiculously hot/badass

There is a theory that Tommy is his own ancestor, since the clone stayed in the 1700s

I do find it funny that Saban was like “it doesn’t matter who’s in the suit” only to be forced to bring JDF back due to fan backlash

I laughed so hard when you said "Zordon only has enough power to teleport one ranger and surprisingly it's Adam, nah it's Tommy"

Thuy Trang's story genuinely makes me sad. Here's this very charming person who has overcome so much, only to be tragically killed at only 27. It's awful 😔

Haim Saban: we can replace any of the actors

Haim Saban few years later: oh cmon Austin! Just come back for one season of Zeo.

The Green With Evil arc was so stressful. My entire school was feeling it when it originally aired.

11:43 Actually the Sentai DID have an episode where the Pink and Blue Rangers become punks, it was just a little later, being episode 21, which was actually AFTER the Sentai's Green Ranger arc

Hearing Kimberly scream when her grandmother's wheel broke sent chills down my back! shudders dont mess with the pink ranger.

@1:21:30 There is a very good reason the Rangers can't use the new zords until the old ones are back under control - it's because the new zords are the old zords. Everytime the Thunderzords are summoned, the same old Dinozord is summoned first, and it is then Morphed into the new Thunderzord by the lightning that hits it. It's blatantly obvious in both the summoning scene and zord roll-call. The Thunderzords are merely a power-up for the Dinozords, and that is why they cannot be summoned simultaneously and why the Dinozords needed to be recovered first before the Thunderzords could be used.

It's so sad seeing Tommy knowing how things went, I never really had any heroes as a kid but with him being a favourite of mine in multiple seasons of power rangers he got pretty close

If you liked Jason, Zack, and trini. You’ll be happy to know that in the comics, they actually went on to become a new trio of rangers after their departure. With a better explanation on why the three left, and why Tommy was made leader.

Bro you bringing up “it’s time for molecular transmutation” was like the Winter Soldier activation I am floored by how vividly I suddenly remembered the first time I watched that scene

Fun fact: when Doomsday was meant to be the series finale, Saban were apparently going to fly Machigo Soka to the USA and have a fight between the rangers & Rita Repulsa in the juice bar where their secret identities would get revealed to Bulk & Skull & the other characters.

Power rangers always looks clean until you actually KNOW that some footage is borrowed.

Then it’s impossible to not notice

The Masked Rider was supposed to look like a bug, since all Kamen Riders up to that point, with the exception of Amazon, were all themed after insects

Fun fact: Rito Rivolto's voice actor is the father of Bryce Papenbrook, the guy that voices Kirito from SAO and Meliodas from Seven Deadly Sins.

as an ex school janitor there are some messes we are told to leave alone because we are not the kid's maid and the teachers/principle wants to teach the kids a lesson by having them clean it.
