i just watched a 50min video about how i should watch an anime that ive already watched 3 times and i have 0 regrets :')

I just watched a 49 minute video of why I should watch a show I already watched wtf

Don’t let this distract you from the fact that bungee gum possesses the properties of both rubber and gum.

The only other fault of 2011 adaptation was to not show kite at the start of the series.

This video didn't convince me to watch Hunter X Hunter. It convinced me to watch it again.

Me: watches 16 hxh episodes                                         -Narrator: 10 seconds have passed

Not to mention that first impression, where they seem like good kids, then there is selfish Leorio; then it turns out they're all sociopaths and Leorio is the only one with a shred of conscience among them.

I often find myself thinking "I want to go back and watch the exam arc, but the tower arc is such a good introduction so I'll rewatch that too, but the Yorknew city arc is the intro to the troupe and I love them" then that spirals into wanting to rewatch the whole show

"Dont worry Killua, there is no way Kite is dead! We need to train so we can save him".
Cut to Neferupito holding Kite's chopped head in her laps

The largest flaw in the series is the lack of leorio greatness

Killua a fashion Killa..
Only character that changes clothes every 8 episodes

Gon breaking is one of the most emotional things ever. Watching Killua who was always the stoic composed one see it happen and not be able to help is devastating.

Love how in HunterxHunter, Leorio was deemed the selfish rude person nobody would like at the beginning, but at the end, he's the only sane person that everyone loves. Amazing writing if you ask me.

I love how this anime starts off simple, then it spreads 100 different ways, then HIATus

I like how innocent the whole thing started and how it ended up in one of the darkest places imaginable. It subverts expectations, quite a lot.

Short answer
Gon is a Shonen main character... In a world where Shonen doesn't work.

The chimera ant arc is something that will haunt my life forever, I can't even watch the last episode of that arc without crying a lot.

HxH was such a surprise.

“non-threatening character”

me: *thinks of kurapika vs uvogin*

The fact that you made this at the beginning of your journey for revenge upon the guy who said this anime was mid.

you had me at a little boy ripping a serial killer's heart out with his bare hands and showing him it's last beats
