However, like anything, I had a budget which I used to buy a Denon amp, Audio Technica turntable for my 40 year old vinyl records, and a pair of Wharfdale Diamond speakers.
Now, that left me a little short for a new CD player, so I looked at the second hand market. Here, for £80, I purchased a Technics CD player, a basic model but clearly had been very well looked after.
It plays really well, even though I can only use RCA connections (I have a Panasonic DMP-9000 4K player which is a really decent CD player which I have connected to my amp via Coaxial, and sounds really good as well).
I do like legacy machines and will need to see how long the machine lasts me before I have to replace it.
That wasn't cheap, around 800 e if memory serves but ...Holy mowley. Stunning...
