Oppo - any model was a classic but the BDP- 93 or 205 use the best DACs. Long out of production but still worth picking up- if you can get one.

My Denon DCD-1000 still running strong from 1985. Bought new and only CD player I've owned.

Esoteric K-01XD-SE.  It's grand and an end game player.

I have got the Electrocompaniet EMC-1 UP with Philips pro motor. A weight of 20 kg. Can be among the best. Build like a tank. Greetings from Norway.

LINN SONDEK CD-12

Do you own a CD player, if yes, what brand is it from?

The Cambridge mashes the snair and does not provide the detail period. Fine for the price but it's a background player.

Naim , rega , Sony , nad and pioneer

Wadia pushed the boundaries in CD technology and still to this day players are still in catch up

tascam burner and player

First time I'm making a comment. I like what you have presented here but somehow I'm not sure why the Wadia 800 series was not on the list. When famous names in the audio community like Paul McGowan and Nelson Pass have personally owned the 850 or 860 Wadia models. I'm respectfully asking for a reply if you have the time.

insane UK brand promotion marketing tricks & always throw in a few JP  so it will not be so obvious ....YT is full of those similar vids

Hello Jay's audio cdt2 mk3 transport it's good

I’ve owned dozens of CD players since the 80s. The Marantz CD6007 is the best CD player I’ve ever heard.

Wadia 270 + 27ix !!! Unsurpassed.......

Sorry a top ten list without the PS Audio transport is meaningless

Linn Sondek turntable YES. Linn Sondek CD player NO. I bought the CD player and it broke and the replacement broke. Yuck.

Onkyo Icon CD30 is 399 and got it for 299 sounds great!

Been in the industry for years and most Hifi is marketing BS, more bougie rubbish than you can shake a stick at. Money we used to make selling cables was criminal, audiophile quality IEC leads 🤣 yeah right, oh and digital interconnects for £1000s, I have some magic beans you might be interested in.
