You nailed the comparison, in my opinion. The customer support that Horizon gives is basically no problem we'll take care of you. Have fun enjoying the hobby

Great video. Arrma is definitely the better choice all around. I’m subscribing. Keep up the great work!!

well you just saved me $500, im just looking at getting back into the hobby and was looking at the kraton 8s for the last month of so, then I saw the XRT ultimate and have been drooling over that.
Thanks for the honest no BS review man.

Great video. I bought the Kraton 6S V6 and love it. Now I want the Kraton 8s. Then I started conditioning changing it up to XRT. Not anymore. Kraton 8s it is! Ive watched a ton of videos. This video seals the deal.

I have both maxed out with thousands in each.
They are very different animals. I prefer the xrt. It's lighter and faster. Just more fun to drive.  The kraton feels and looks stonger/better. It's just not. Once the drivetrain is figured out on the xrt and a max 6 or 5 is installed.  It's game on.

every RC out there has its ups and downs ..all part of the hobby ..all fun :)

Thanks.

I love my xrt and just ordered an arrma Kraton v6. Also I have the v5 kraton

I’ve never had the XRT,but I do own the Kraton 8s EXB and absolutely love it. However I’m still a big XMaxx fan. Sucks that the support is not there anymore.

Put the old X Maxx tires on the XRT. It totally transforms the truck in a good way. You’ll get way more rotation higher flight. More stunts better handling on loose dirt.🔥👍🏼

As someone who has owned a bunch of Traxxas and Arrma rigs I eventually got rid of all my Traxxas rigs besides my Xmaxx and TRX4. I think Arrma is better for many different reasons.

I have both. To me personally, the XRT has been way cheaper to maintain and bash. My experience. Same thing with the Xmaxx vs Outcast 8s. I have those too.

Nice Vid...you can still put a socket on the Traxxas wheel nut to tke it off!! Jus sayin lol

Couldn't have said it better . I have the same opinion and I have (2) XRT Ultimate and (1) Kraton EXB BLX 8S and sold one of the XRT's already at a loss and selling the other one . Trying with the Kraton.

Own both, spent a lot less repairing the xrt but it is harder to work on, bent two Kratun chassis at 160 each. 3/1 hours to do.

I own both trucks and never had a problem

Dang bro I here u now

You know you can just use a standard 17mm socket on the XRT wheel nuts, right?

Traxxas always hated aftermarket companies if you do wheels on the  traxxas and better motor you into it for over 2200 and can't sell it for what you originally paid for the traxxas

U can use shockets on the Traxxas bud 14mm
