SM has an extensive history of mistreatments and abuse, and EXO has one of the most toxic fandoms in the history of humanity. Imagine protesting someone getting married and expecting a baby and framing that as selfish. Mental illness right there. Any group with a company like that and a fandom like that can’t last long.

I am trying to see where is BTS in the audience 😝 in your opening sequence of EXO getting awards

Exo could have been bigger then bts if their company supported them

i don't get it. SM reaches out to CBX to have an EXO comeback, they said yes, but before it was finalized SM just went and said nah, we're good without you... why?? :/

EXO thrived with vocal heavy songs, they were popular day one for a reason but then I don't know why SM decided that typical boygroup songs were the way to go. When we think of EXO we think of vocal prowess but songs like kokobop or love shot dont hit like that. I will never forget that even in my midsized town in Australia back in 2012-2013 EXO were on everyones lips even non kpop fans knew them.

I'm exo-l since 2019, they will be always my favorite kpop group, but seeing exo disappearing is so sad to me that sometimes I don't even listen to them.

Anyways started being a fan of EXO since 2019 and still am. No group has matched their talent for me. ❤

WHy was I continuously jumpscared by pictures of Kris Wu?? You really didn't need to keep putting up different photos like a fan video

I'm still obsessed with chanyeol, I dont think anymore can ever eclipse him in my heart anymore. 😅❤ exo-l forever ♥️

Been into K-pop since gen 2 and I remember watching them since their debute. At first, this is an interesting group that caught my attention. They sure had their own shine. But it's still lack of originality. What I mean by this is they are basically just another group that are made just to become fabricated artist with no freedom to made their own choices in music. Yes they do write a few of their song, but it still shows how shallow they are as an artist. I don't see their differences with most K-pop idol at that time, except for their K and M concept (although Super Junior already done that before as well). SM choreography in dance are also lack of movement IMO. I mean... I used to dance and it takes a lot of song just to make sweat. And around that time, I found BTS too since their debute, and immediately fall in love with their hip hop music and extreme choreography. Finding out that they are completely had freedom in writing their own music, suddenly I don't put interest in seeing any other K-pop group at that time. Well, there's a few K-pop song that I genuinely like, but it's not making me interesting to stan the singer.

For me, EXO's downfall was starting with their fans, EXO-L that start beefing with other idol, especially ARMY. The constant mockery to "nugu group" by them is basically what makes me draws my attention to EXO. This is before ARMY become toxic as well, but I guess this is a result of constant need to protect BTS since the beef with basically general K-pop. I'm not really into beefing with K-pop fandom (my gf is a hardcore EXO-L LMAO). I'm just happy to see my boys rise up from mockery to become the one who paved the way (Y'all who didn't like and understand this term definitely refuse to had this conversation with me, but if u do, we can discuss it here). Mind u that my opinion would definitely not from u girls perspective who cares abt visual which are subjective matters. I'm all for discography and talent here. It's okay if u kept telling urself that EXO is more talented than any other group especially BTS, bcs it just show how u actually didn't know what talent is. I mean... great talents would pull lot of fans, but ig it's not gonna happen for EXO until they are disbanded.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I called EXO as just basically just another group that are made just to become fabricated artist are bcs they don't really care abt their fans. U can name a few of their song that they said it's for their fans, but for BTS, it's like there are at least 2 song from each album that are for the fans, even they are constantly releasing free song for their fans and special anniversary song for the fans as well. Don't forget to mention they kept releasing content for their fans. This is what u called an idol who genuinely cares with their fans. Their reason to not disband was bcs they had their fans, they don't have the need to disband. Unlike EXO.... pfft this gonna be a whole lot more complicated. I guess they really are done. EXO-L need to humble themselves bcs there is nothing left for them to be proud of from this group, except that they are still not disband yet ig LMAO

Exo are amazing yes I know bts do their thing but theres room for 2 groups EXO down fall is the member s leaving other then that they are awesome and their vocalist match any group out there

Tbh as a bts army and being into the kpop scene since 6 years now I feel like the only group I can listen and actually enjoy after bts is exo and I am not even a fan but I just love how great and beautiful songs they have And musically According to me only they can make my mind eaver from bts . if they were active as a group they would have been by ultimate group alongside BTS

BTS foot>>>>>>EXO

Very unsure why Reverxe is being called a commercial failure when it is their EIGHTH album to sell over a million copies???💀💀Like where is the assessment that they're currently struggling while on an active sold out Asia Tour even coming from??💀💀

I thought this video was going to actually showcase the timeline of EXO being tossed aside by SM: the 2014 controversies, THAAD causing Lay to be unable to promote from EX'ACT onward, the debut of NCT and SM redirecting all resources to them, SM just throwing away their Mandarin albums concept, SM's outright refusal to give the members any promotions, radio shows, variety appearances; literally anything to build upon their already existing fandom during enlistment...and I got freaking Kris Wu's scandal SEVEN YEARS REMOVED FROM THE GROUP and foolishness about Chanyeol's girlfriends as "The Downfall of EXO"💀💀

No offense, but this was extremely poorly researched and failed to touch on the actual reasons EXO is not as big as they could be today, almost all of which were SM's refusal to make use of them after two years of being their biggest money-makers by far and basically depending on the fandom to promote EXO for them. Not BS about a member who was out of EXO far longer than he was even in it being imprisoned. And then trying to assert Crown flopped is a massive joke when the numbers for REVERXE have been out since February and are easily accessible. Very unfortunate video.

Lmao the hate on exo is so forced

Watching this makes me feels that the core problem is the management. It seems like the management just promote and give their total support only until the artists are at their peak and kinda discard them afterward and move those masive support to newer artist instead nurturing them and giving them time to grow to the best of their potential. It's just like machine, very calculative and cold. It's so sad. All of them are talented artist, that i believe have so much more potential and able to achieve even more given a change.

On side note, i also confused why they spread their enlistment so wide like that? It makes the group "crippled" so to speak that much longer. I belive this is a wrong strategy and can be learned by other groups.

I hope the remaining members and exo as a group can still grow moving forward. Just focus to their music and pay no mind to the charts and haters.

I live in London, here all my friends except me they got to know EXO in 2019 through Baekhyun. They all boycotted this comeback for him😢. I got to know EXO in 2017 when I used to live in Italy, again it’s for Baekhyun. But I loved all of the members but yeah Baekhyun is always special to me. I listen to other artists songs but EXO and its members solo work are always top notch. Baekhyun’s solo songs always make my heart flutter. I supported this comeback but feels so empty without CBX . SM really played dirty with Baekhyun. I hope he will be able to back again or I am done with Kpop. I never thought a music industry, fans and everything is full of competition and toxicity. Before I thought if we like someone songs we play them, try others, praise others. Just play whenever feels like but now saw the competition, who surpassed this….blah blah….Music is something to make people feel good inside, why this toxicity? Just listen to the music and singer whoever you like! Every group has uniquenesses, their own beauty. One fan said EXO members bullied BTS members, since 2017 I have been following them, I never heard a single bad word for any group from them!

How can they call EXO flop if the albums and concerts sells like hotcakes?! 🤷

En realidad no me importa este grupo

These bitter fools in the comments yapping bullshit about Exo is hilarious to me. I'd rather stan kpop group who can sing rather listening to 90% of idols who can't even sing a basic songs live with their generic ahh songs
Exo's discography and vocals are untouchable and they started most of the trends that made kpop what kpop is today
