After weeks in the wild, this is the grand finale of our northern BC hunting trip. From early morning elk calls and frozen swamps to sudden snowstorms, broken gear, and one wild escape, this week has it all. We battled the weather, packed up camp in chaos, and faced the roughest drive out yet.

Even though the hunt didn’t end with a moose, the experience was unforgettable. We wrapped up the season with meat in the freezer, new trails discovered, and the first snow on the ground. Now it’s time to head back to the cabin to get the stove stonework started before winter locks us in.

Thank you for following along with me and Sophie. Subscribe to stay tuned for the on-going cabin build, stove installation, and a long winter ahead.
