In this video, we take on the ultimate DIY Alaska hunting adventure. We drove the entire way, brought everything we needed, and headed into the backcountry as three first-time moose hunters hoping to fill our tags.
Along the way, the adventure became about much more than hunting. We caught beautiful Arctic grayling, encountered a grizzly bear, explored the Alaskan wilderness, and eventually got the opportunity to harvest a moose.
From the miles on the road to the challenges of getting gear into the field, the uncertainty of the hunt, and the excitement of finally finding success, this trip was truly an adventure of a lifetime.
This is the story of three guys chasing a dream and experiencing Alaska the hard way — doing it ourselves from start to finish.
