Fly with Aurigny from Southampton International Airport (SOU) to Guernsey. Experience the flight from arrival, boarding and airborne across the English Channel to the pretty island of Guernsey.
The second part of the video takes you on the return leg from Guernsey Airport (GCI) to Southampton landing on the southerly runway with views over Winchester and Eastleigh.

Thanks for the video Gavin, very enjoyable. I have been to Gurnsey twice, 1960 on a Channel Airways DC-3 from Portsmouth and in 1975 on a Dan Air 748 from Bournemouth. I could see where I used to live at Eastleigh when coming into land. In those days it was BA Viscounts, BIA Heralds and Aurigny Trislanders.

Flew Luton to Jersey in summer '85 on a Channel Island Airways Viscount, which was ex BOAC (the galley metalwork was embossed everywhere). Flew at virtually wave height and was the nicest flight I have ever experienced. Flew back on a DC9, not quite the same.

Of course the weather was lousy on a holiday weekend! The ATR seemed quiet, does it have anti-noise as the BA Dash 8's I flew in the 90's mainly did between Bristol and Glasgow and Brum and Inverness?

Nice video.
I have just done a trip report on the 4th flight of British Airways from London Heathrow to Guernsey, onboard the first BA A320 to land their.
I must say it's a beautiful island.
