Bottle digging challenge | I give up and stick to MUDLARKING

Lancashire Larks

Bottle digging challenge, I think I will give up now and stick to Mudlarking Haha, This was at an old bottle dump and for someone who doesn’t dig. So, just a bit of dump digging, I think after today I have decided to hang up the shovel and leave it to the professional bottle diggers. I take my hat off to these guys. But there again most are about 30 years younger than me haha. Still did a bit of mudlarking for some Victorian treasure in between the digging, more to take a breather.

Hello Lancashire Larks, so many bottles to choose from. I prefer the tiny bottles and the ginger beer bottles. Thank you for allowing me to come along. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.

I think the beautiful green one once housed a genie 😂

Congratulations on the poison and the awesome blob top Skipton bottle! Collette's green bottle is beautiful! It looked like a fun day out.

Somehow preserve the tiny shoe piece and then put it in a picture frame with other children's objects.

Another great video, that ground was hard! Love the tiny bottles and poisons, that green globe shaped bottle Collette picked up is gorgeous, loved Lancashire lad's paperweight.

Pretty good finds, you could fill those gorgeous tiny clear bottles with different color food coloring and put corks in them. I'm going to have to wear my safety glasses when we go bottle digging again he just slung that dirt all over the place. LOL

That ground was like concrete. Pretty finds!

I dug enough times through our hard clay soil that I understand that we may be out of our age range when it comes to any more digging. At least you can say you tried and didn't fail completely! All the hard work digging would make leaving anything behind more difficult for me. I know my curiosity would have me investigating the gunk in those bottles, probably disgusting and smelly but who knows. It could be a scent from the past or a scent that should remain in the past.🤣😂❤
