I know this is almost a year after this was made, but this was awesome. I not only understand the more about Zariel, but can empathize with her.

Have you heard the tragedy of Zariel the fallen? I thought not, it’s not a story the temple of Lathander would tell you. It’s a Baator legend. Zariel was an arch-duke of Avernus, so powerful and so wise that she could tear demons to pieces…

That was so great I didn’t want it to end!!

Always SO cool to watch/listen to these.  The seduction was such a Nat 20 roll

This is living breathing art. To be honest, the devils don't receive the credit they deserve for saving the multiverse from the hordes of the abyss...

Shout Out to....WILL, This was epic, loved it and the new approach. Glad to see you're still creating. Can't wait for more

The idea of Asmodeus falling through the multiple layer of the Nine Hells like Wile E. Coyote makes me chuckle.

That was a dope AF retelling of Zariels story!

That was captivating from beginning to end. Of all the Arch Devils,  Zariel is probably my favorite.  Well done!

William your killing it William I want to sincerely thankyou for all of your d and d content in the last 7 or 8 years I have watch all the dungeon cast videos many times over thankyou for your insight into the best roll playing game I know of  keep up the great videos I'm a true fan

Thank you for not being AI. Subbed

Great video. I love this story. She made the correct choice. Asmodeus stands above all else as the one true defender of law in the multiverse. All bow before the lord of law! All hail Asmodeus!

what a BEAUTIFULLY written script! i absolutely love this channel, you are an amazing storyteller and i also really REALLY appreciate the fact that from everything i’ve seen, all parts of your videos (including the art) are free from AI. mad respect!

You should take the part of the video that talks about the creation story of the DnD universe and make it its own video. Really great explanation of this topic, at least in my opinion, as someone who is still relatively new to DnD.

Also, this was the first video I ever watched on the Dungeoncast channel. I really enjoyed it and so I was disappointed that there was never another episode like this one, but I still became a fan of the show because you and Brian had such a great dynamic. Needless to say, I was sad to hear that the cast was ending, but at the same time I’m excited to see that this new channel will be focusing on making episodes like this. Looking forward to what comes in the future!

Asmodeus was basically a lawyer. No surprise there.

This is how it feels to be Zariel, forever.

Let's fucking go Will!!!!!!

Again, another hit! I'm on my fourth episode and will likely binge a pile more.  Exceptional depth of story, easily accessible format, and outstanding narration! Keep them coming.  I'll definitely be sharing with interested friends!

I was looking for this video and couldn't find the original! Thankfully I found it here!

So happy to have your lore back in my routine! Loved the imagery // an episode on cults and their rituals would be cool. I'm always looking for inspirations for cultists.
