No AI was used in the creation of this video or ANY video we produce.

A floating fortress of stone and steel looming stark against the swirling background of astral infinity. Pouring forth from its battlements rise grand astral ships with fan-like sails that catch the psychic winds of the plane alongside red dragons bearing silverclad riders wielding magnificent silver swords.

You will have found the Githyanki. And they will likely be the last thing you ever see. For these are their waters and they do not suffer trespassers kindly.

Sorry for the re-upload! Had an issue with the previous drop!

I really love the githyanki, such a brutal but surprisingly rich culture, they are quite fascinating. Thanks for the upload guys! :)

I would like to add that every single Githyanki queen is named "Vlaakith" (after the previous one dies) and the latest one, being 157th in succession, is unique cause she turned herself into a lich (and went slightly mad and more evil after centuries of unnaturally extended "life") and isn't content with being a queen but seeks to become divine.

Thanks.
I needed an escape from the real world.

I love the Gith. I’ve played one on the tabletop for awhile now. Currently I have a Githyanki War Cleric, a Githyanki soulknife, and a Githyanki Psi Warrior I run on various campaigns. I’m amped at the success of BG3 as it is bringing more to the lore and getting them more attention. I’m hoping that the success of the game leads to increased fluff and lore from WotC.

Bae'zel, I mean, Lae'zel is the best companion/romance in BG3, and it's not even close!

Ah yes, the Gith Yankees.
I hear they're having a good season this time around.

I love and loathe the githyanki! I had a fantastic run in with them in a scenario based in Sigil (city of Doors) where we had an airship chase with a group of githyankis. So much fun! So evil - at least in that particular campaign

I've always been more interested in the Githzerai but this was Awesome. Why havent the DND Lords develop a follow up on what happend to Gith and will they ever reunite as one people under a new leader...that would be a pretty cool tale.

@evanpage2540 1 month ago

So they're literally mutant space pirates with dragons

Great video! Seems like Larian got the Gith spot on.

I do have a question for the lore experts. Is the Vlaakith that's the Lich queen active during BG3 the same Vlaakith that was personal advisor to Gith, or did this current Vlaakith come much later?
