22:00 “Not ready to part with them yet.”
He said it best. Makes sense with those prices.

I actually like the “finished” sticker on the spiderman superman treasury. It adds history to the book and I think that’s pretty cool! I always enjoy little things like that on my books

The Hobbit TPB signed with the sketch is SO DANG COOL!  Great find along with all the other good pickups!  Looks like it was a good day!

I remember a few years ago when people were excitedly talking about getting their Xmen 1 for $20… it was weird then and it’s weird now.

Your experience with the overpriced vendor at this flea market is my experience at every flea market ;-( .  What a great deal on those Treasury Editions!  I received those Holiday Grab Bags as Christmas gifts when they came out and I have re-read them every Christmas since.

Mike very nice to see stuff I either had or am nostalgic about: The Treasuries esp. the Superman Spidey one ! The Graphic novels box had some GREAT artwork!

the Cloak and Dagger and the Iron Man 2020 mag sized GN's were awesome in the end of the hunt video.

Congratulations on the Treasury score, I would have snapped them up too, especially for the DC Christmas issues

I saw Tony at the Brimfield North location in fall of last year. There was mildew all over the plastic bags as it had been raining and was pretty humid. That was hard to see as well.

Small haul > no haul! The Treasuries were a nice score. I'd love to check that Flea Market out but...  90min is a bit of a haul. The show in Enfield yesterday was incredible (didn't realize Michael from the 3MIB show was such a huge collector).

12:39 Exiles is such a great series, its like one big long epic what if story

LOVE treasury books, I just wish they were a little easier to store!   I'm with you though, all of those books baking in the sun is tough to stomach for sure!

I think that one seller thought he was at a convention.  Bwahahahaha.....   Dude is gonna be hauling those books all over MA for a while.  lol.

I enjoy your search and hunt content. I'm a TPB collector with over 10,000 graphic novels, omnibuses, Absolute Editions. Been collecting them for over 20 years, constantly upgrading. Good call on the Nightcrawler TP!  It's never been reprinted and all Nightcrawl TP's are out of print, even the newer Claremont runs. Depending on your copy's condition, if like new, it's currently around USD $40-50 high. 8-10 years ago was around USD $60 - 75..I also had my copies signed by Darick Robertson. Very underrated series.  Cheers !!!

Some sweet non-superhero titles I would get for light summer afternoon reading, especially the Harvey, Archie and Dell titles. Even some Charltons. Reading comics is just as much fun as collecting them! 🍦

Totally agree those comic out in the sun is WILD!!

HOLY ROBBERY BATMAN!!! Those prices were extortion!! Not one you showed is rare at all either!! 😮😮😮

Excellent buys on those TPBs, especially the original art in The Hobbit inner cover. Very cool pickup on the Mister Miracle trade as well - I came across the New Gods trade that is also in black and white. I love Fourth World stuff anyways, but it's awesome to see Kirby's artwork in black and white on that title. I'll have to find more of them 🤙

I have bought quite a few of the trade paperbacks from the nice older guy inside the barn including Elric and Joe Hill collections. I would have bought that Hobbit paperback but you beat me to it that day! 😂 I just went to That's Entertainment on Saturday and David Wenzel (Illustrator) of that book was doing signings.  Bought a couple of his art prints.

Mike, Love those Marvel and DC treasuries! I remember them hitting the newsstands back in the early 70s and being fascinated by them as a little kid in the low single-digit age. Luckily my Dad (My Dad got me into collecting. R.I.P., Dad.) bought me a few back in the day so I could read them ( to death as only a little kid would do ). Decades later as an adult, I went back to collect most of them with the exceptions being DC’s Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer issues and the Welcome Back, Kotter issue and Marvel’s Smurfs issue and the three Hanna Barbera issues. You made a fabulous killing on that stack of treasuries. My eyes grew as big as dinner plates upon seeing the iconic Superman and Spider-Man team up. Congrats 🎉!

I grew up in Hubbardston. I need to get my butt up early and check it out. I just got weekends off with my work, so now would be the time. Great video!
