Lunch Money Comics

Hey comic fans! It’s finally flea market season in New England and I’m at the biggest one of all! I once again head to Brimfield Flea Markets to hunt for comic books, but I’ve restricted myself to a Lunch Money budget… will I be able to stick to my limit or does the comic HAUL I end up with break my wallet? Check out the video to find out!

Major Victory #1 in a 5.5 is SELLING for around $625-$650

Smash Comics in a 6.0 sold for $1450 this year. 5.5 would probably sell for around $1200

Smash Comics 25 worth more than Major Victory 1 based on sales

The Marvel treasury editions are my favourite comics of all. One of my fondest childhood memories is of lying on our couch in 1975 near Christmas and reading 'Hulk on the Rampage' as it started to snow outside. Wonderful.

That was the mother of all Flea Markets Mike! You definitely did well with two hundred dollars! This first vendor Jeff had an amazing collection of comics as well as other vendors. I don’t know how these vendors obtain such great collections. I definitely would love to go the with a thousand dollars and work a deal with some of those vendors.

Captain Victory #1 reprints stories from 1941 Dynamic Comics issues; $800 for a 5.5 is good value.
The Neal Adams-cover House Of Secrets and the Atom-Age Combat issue are the picks of the video for
me.

35:05 That one’s got a great one-off backup story drawn by Brian Bolland

Don’t forget that HoS book is Neal Adam’s homaging himself from the famous Batman 227 just a month earlier! Great stuff! Also Xmen 221 is ridiculously undervalued. I just grabbed a 9.0 for $40 shipped. (Apocalypse is criminally undervalued as well)

PPPS if you go back you should grab that Tower Of Shadows #1 in the same box/dealer as Atom Age Combat and House Of Secrets that you got ....This Tower Of Shadows 1 has a Steranko story inside ! :)

I saw a bunch of Tales of suspense and iron man from the truck guy. I just traded some vampirellas and horror books for that Avengers Goliath book. I spotted a few super adaptoid TOS books that are on my list.

I agree! Great deals!! Hard to pick a favorite, but the Spiderman ranks right up there!!!

Truck guy had a lot of good stuff this year. It pained me to watch you flip past some crazy good stuff. I always find my self yelling at my phone like a dork wait, stop, don’t pass that lol!
