It’s time for another Lit Review episode, and today we’re spreading a little nostalgia under the lamp! Goose Creek has teamed up with Smucker’s for a new collaboration, and I’m reviewing all four candles in the collection.

We’ll start with my cold impressions. Then, after the cut, I’ll talk about how the scents develop once warmed and how they deliver on strength and throw. I'll rank them along the way!

A huge thank you to Goose Creek for gifting me these candles to review. As always, the candles may have been provided to me, but my opinions, critiques, and rankings are entirely my own.

Hey Tracy! The same 2 were kinda light for me as well but I still luv them! I'm all about the fruity scents! The Peach one is definitely the strongest one n the apple one is really great! It smells so good! I wish we would have gotten the Blackberry one that GC previewed on their email which was a huge bummer that we didn't! Also, where's the grape, which is the most popular, apricot n raspberry jams would have been perfect in this collection! Oh man that would have been amazing! Maybe they'll do it again n add those! Wishful thinking I guess! Great review n was fun watching! 😀

Great reviews! While lit, Cherry Jam takes on a dark syrupy cherry scent to my nose & I can pick-up on the Raspberry & Strawberry in the background. Strawberry Jam was the most authentic jammie scent to my nose & Peach Jam reminded me of Georgia Peach but I can see Peach Rings too since it is a sweet peach scent. I didn't purchase Apple Jam.

Omg I about feel off the couch laughing when you said young and the restless. My morning ritual in the summer was - let’s make a deal followed by the price is right with Bob and then young and the restless. 😂😂😂😂

They missed a chance to give us a raspberry jam scent. And where's grape? I don't think Goose Creek needs anymore apple scents.

I chose correctly this time! lol I received my order yesterday: Apple Jam and Peach Jam. I'll add the apple to my autumn apple rotation but I'm holding peach until spring.

This collection confuses me, for two reasons. One, this seems like it would have been better as a late spring or early summer release, not fall. And two, there isn't a grape jelly scent. Grape is the first flavor I think of when I think of Smuckers, and yet it is missing here. Peach and cherry are odd inclusions. At least where I live, I have only seen peach and cherry options in small boutique brands or maybe Bonne Maman.

At least Apple Jam sounds nice and feels more seasonal. I will probably keep an eye on that one and pick it up later on.

Hope they aren’t thin ropey wicks anymore! That haunted mask finally hit the lamp and I was just wondering in my mind why I even babied for so long- sigh. Curious to see the scent lasting because the only goose creek I have crocked are the ones that were almost done and I couldn’t light anymore.

Beautiful jar appeal though here
