Im a 22 year old woman and tho I know I'm probably not your target audience, I find your videos extremely educational. Been watching you for over a year now and cant stop

"Air besar"...old mate probably means big waves/rough seas coming next couple of days so had to pick you up earlier than expected.

What a legend the local was. It would honestly be really cool to somehow do a survival mission with different locals showing you the ropes of survival on their turf. They have lifetimes of knowledge we couldn’t possibly scratch the surface of.

"air besar" in this context, literally means high tide.

You absolutely killed it in this one. Never seens someone collect water off of jungle soil. Sick video mate.

Long time fan from Singapore here! I have 2 interpretations for what your boatman said
1: “layar besar” big sail, only a bigger boat can come to pick you up once the weather gets bad
2: “air besar” big water, meaning big waves from bad weather incoming, telling you to be careful

There's clearly no shortage of plastics floating around in the ocean no matter where you are. That is just the stuff that's on the surface. Could you imagine the amount of garbage we'd find if we could get down there. We definitely can't keep this up forever.

This episode felt like a masterclass in real survival—no gimmicks, just clever thinking and respect for local knowledge. The way you dug for water and rigged that steady fire was pure ingenuity, and that random local cameo was the heart of the whole trip—teach, share, then vanish like a proper legend. Watching you stay calm under that stormy “big water” moment made the whole thing tense and satisfying. More vids like this please: long, unfiltered, and full of real techniques over flashy stunts.

I'm Indonesian, man. First time I saw your vid, I was like "damn, this guy's good!" So I hit that subscribe button real quick. Since then, I’ve been hooked—never miss an episode. Your survival vids on Indonesian islands? Freakin' awesome, bro. Keep that sh*t coming and don’t you dare stop. Stay strong, you legend! 🤘
