It’s with a heavy heart I must announce that shortly after filming this video Si Si’s longtime best friend and favorite pup Miss Oakley passed away suddenly from an unexpected tumor. Si Si was with her as she passed, happy to be by her side. Oakley was a staple at the bait shop and enjoyed the hustle and bustle and many a treat was snuck her way when Si Si wasn’t looking. I think I can speak for the entire Phalange Army when I say our heartfelt condolences go out to Si Si through this difficult time. Miss Oakley will be missed ❤

For safety you should hang a rope ladder off the back side where your fishing, just in case you fall in the water you will be able to get back on the bridge.

I did something similar with a friend while at high school. We lived on a small island for one week, living off what we caught. I recall talking to my friend and both of us agreeing that it was terrifying. It wasn't that it was dangerous or scary. On the contrary, it was total freedom. So much great freedom that we knew we could never again be content in the "civilized world." I have been in many, many such adventures since then, and now that I am in the twilight of my life, it is those adventures that have given profound meaning to my life (next to my son.) I have had success, failure, money, women, fancy cars and boats. However, it is those bare bones, mostly solitary adventures that have made my life fulfilling. So, friend, if you question the pigeonhole society has put you in, consider going on such adventures.

As far down as that water can get you almost need a rope ladder in case you slip off or lose something over the side so you can get back up to the pillar. Great video caught alot of good looking fish
