Tommy Wonder's one of my favourite magicians, I love his work. For example "Ring, Watch and Wallet", or his take on the Wild Card Routine "Tamed Cards" are also very good.

Actually spent a few long weekends with Tommy Wonder, then called Jos Bema (Bemelman?), when we were young, in our twenties. It was at the Forks Hotel. He performed the 2 cup and ball routine several times, and so much other good magic. His misdirection, routining, were superb. He concentrated heavily on the effect: he always knew what he was going for... what reaction he was trying to achieve. I can honestly say that everything he performed was tightly crafted, and he was always trying to simplify, and make the effect stronger. And when we talked about things, you knew he was very knowledgeable about not only technique, but principles.

We all stand on the shoulders of giants Ed.  People like Tommy Wonder put these beautiful routines together, years later David Blaine puts a modern "cool" twist on them, but essentially is using their material.  You must remember that in it's time, this was cool.  You know my love for ACR and this is a very very good one.  Great choice of video to react to buddy

That's a perfect routine. Absolutely perfect. Even if magicians all learn the moves/method, 99.9% won't match the performance.

Tommy appears to have his audience very engaged with the magic, it's a pleasure to watch.

Sick flourish! And I love Tommy - hes done wonders for magic! Sick books! What a legend!

Did anyone else alt-tab to Discord at 2:05?

its all about finding what works tbh. Some people can pull off that "five year oldish " vibe that you were talking about and honestly , it works for them . Just like david blaine dosent react at all when other people freak out at his tricks, its his personna and the way he markets himself which is fine and is different for every magician imo. what matters is if they are ENTERTAINING

MAGIC TRICKS that have LAYERS are the best. This guy TOMMY WONDER is incredible.

I didn't know him - he's very good! Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Wow I literally searched for this on your channel a few days ago. I love Tommy Wonder, one of my favorites!

More Tommy Wonder please. Love your reaction videos.

Very nice routine. Very clean and the patter is spot on for the audience

It's a Double Eduard! Beautifully executed! TW is a Grand Master!!! BRILLIANT!!!

loved Tommy Wonder

thanks for the video keep up the good work

funny. This is from a DVD instructional series. The guy with the mullet and moustache in blue at 7:05 I recognized the set and stage from other instructional DVDs, and he's ALWAYS THERE. I assume he's an employee or something. He was also on every one of Richard Osterlind's DVDs.

I love all your comments about the presentation!!!!

Brother... i like your view about magic. However i think you have gotten Tommy wonder's philosophy incorrectly. Read his books, its one of the best piece of magic philosophy ever written. We as magicians see his ambitious card and say that it wasn't good enough. however if you ask a lay person, he/she would tell you that it was the best card magic ever performed. For a magician, Rays Rise would be an amazing addition to an ambitious card, however for lay people rays rise is just a cool card trick. Sorry to write an aggressive comment, but please pay more attention to  an audience perspective than  a magicians.

I want a ringtone of David from L&L laughing.
