Your videos are GREAT!!!
On the "issue of NAV erosion" I completely agree with your premise. Not all funds are the same and NAV erosion is key to determining if a fund is worthy of investment and retention. Constant reviews must be made of all held positions to determine if a change in return(s) and/or performance is taking place and the reviews must be done very frequently.
However, I believe it's critical to dive into Option Selections, Strike Prices and Duration, Puts vs Call and Spread design before a Fund Manager(s) performance can truly be evaluated. The numbers you have produced certainly bear out and I am, as I believe so many here are, thankful to you for all of your efforts. Your work is invaluable. My concern lies in the details respective of how the fund operates as opposed to the results thus far.
I do my best to try to determine, whenever possible, how Fund Manager(s) make Strike Selections and Spread types to profit and/or repair the trades they make.
Occasionally I watch Jim Cramer. During his show he'll always stop to say, "I'm here to educate you......" and I'm left thinking to myself, really? Ask yourself, how can anyone own stock and not understand options? Cramer NEVER goes into ANY meaningful detail about options. So is he educating his audience? Or is he leading sheep to slaughter?
Some knowledge can be extraordinarily dangerous.
To that end, are you familiar with all the various options strategies? Are you familiar with how these Fund Manager(s) trade? Could you provide specifics? Is there are place to obtain that information?
Because without it, all of us are in the dark as to exactly how the NAV erosion is exposed by the people who control it.
Even a video explaining how the Covered Call ETF Fund Managers determine the option set ups and the repair strategies they might use in a declining market would be very helpful.
