The Saint's Trials and The Divine Deliverances (Psalm 77) - Charles Spurgeon Sermon
Spurgeon Sermon Series
9,821 views
A sermon delivered by C. H. Spurgeon, Lord's day evening,January 11th 1872.
Spurgeon was blessed with the ability, it seems, to draw streams of consolation from the abundant well of Scripture. This sermon is no exception. Psalm 77- and indeed the whole Bible- is used to comfort the afflicted child of God. Here is a sermon which shows us, yet again, how much God can use those who are thoroughly acquainted with His Word, and filled buy His Spirit.

"For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things
which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal" [2 Cor 4v17-18] Truth is a stubborn thing.
God is faithful with the
Great and small by the
Blood of Jesus.
Amen 🙌
