Verse 1]
Little boy
You're in this world
So you'll have to fight just like me
I should know
Life isn't easy
There's adversity at every moment
Little boy
There are many good people
But there are also bad ones, unfortunately, it's true
You just have to think
That you'll soon realize
That honesty lasts the longest, believe me

[Chorus]
This life is passing
There's so little time, so live, because you're free
But do it wisely, make people happy
Then you'll be truly happy
Because life is so short
Many things change as you get older
You're still playing with blocks now, but that won't last
It's a shame, but you won't stay small .

Its a loss for the Netherlands he died. His son is also singing his songs. But its a different voice. Andre Hazes is an icon

Your interpretation is quite accurate tho.
Kleine Jongen means Little Boy
A father telling his son life lessons.

Listen to Lichtje branden - Suzan en Freek (Concert @ Sea) (Freek has a incurable cancer diagnosis and performed there at concert at sea). After a short break and hearing the conclusions from the hospital they came back to perform again. The dutch people supported them by streaming this song, read the lyrics of the song before.

React to important song Andre Hazes wrote, fot the situation, where we now live in- Andre Hazes- Liefde, Leven, Geven translated, Love, Live, Give

I'm subscribing because you're so happy about it. One of our greatest folk singers. We have many with exceptional lyrics and voices. But Andre Hazes is a true saint. I remain skeptical because it's a safe choice. )))

i'm in 1min47 and I am amazed by what you think the song is about. It's pretty much spot on! You should check on the lyrics and translate them, you will be amazed by yourself! This is absolutely crazy! Btw, this is Andre Hazes, probably the best/most popular Dutch singer of all time. Hazes is for everybody, every class in society, Hazes is just Dutch heritage
