Thank you to @ninjamonkey1591 for creating these markers!

This is a perfect example of how brothers ought to dialogue.

Terrific conversation all! Such a good example of thorough, engaging, brotherly disagreement. Honoured to call these 5 men friends.

I don’t know all the answers and I’m okay with that. I’m just thankful that I will never know what it means to be in hell because I am SAVED!!!! Thank you, Jesus!!!

Kirk, Gentlemen, this was HISTORIC! What a fantastic way to handle the harshness that had resulted from your original podcast. This was a great learning experience and example of how we, as Christians, should be; right down to the loving closing thoughts from each of you. May God use this to open and soften the hearts of multitudes. Thank you.

I found such joy listening to fellow Christ followers gently, lovingly, and graciously discussing disagreements within the church body.

So sorry that people attacked you the way they did Kirk. Thats why some Christians  are afraid to ask questions. God bless you. I love your show.

As a former Mormon, I was taught that denying Jesus Christ would result in outer darkness. Within Mormon doctrine, there are three degrees of heaven, and eternal darkness is reserved for those considered sons of perdition (Doctrine and Covenants 76:31–38). When I chose to leave the Mormon church, I was repeatedly warned that unless I repented and returned, that fate awaited me.

Yet Scripture tells a different story. The Bible declares that “whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16), and that salvation is “by grace… through faith—not of works” (Ephesians 2:8–9). Even the Book of Mormon itself testifies that “salvation doth not come by the law alone; and were it not for the atonement… mankind must unavoidably perish” (2 Nephi 2:5–8).

I thank God that He intervened—opening my eyes and drawing me to the true light of Christ. As Scripture says, “the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light” (Isaiah 9:2), and “if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36).

I'm baffled that Christians come after fellow believers with pitchforks when the believer is sincerely combing Scripture for truth , while defending false teachers and abusive "pastors" and pretend "prophets". Sad state of affairs we're in.

Although a storm was created around him, Kirk did a fantastic job steering this whole thing to calm waters. My opinion

I wish they would have addressed the word "hell" being (mis)transliterated from the actual Hebrew and Greek words "Hades," "sheol," and "gehenna." The word hell does not exist in the original biblical copies, and inserting into the Bible as catch-all for these terms really diminishes the meaning and takes away context---which we all know is key to understanding scripture.

One of the many wonderful things I learned when I came to Christ was to question my own presuppositions. This was refreshing, good job brothers.

This is the type of conversation that any Christian should involve themselves. When christians don't discuss and engage in these types of in-house differences, people can easily fall prey to seeing anyone that disagrees with them as a heretic. Well done men.

and notice how they could disagree without cancelling each other, getting violent, screaming "hate speech" or trying to assassinate each other? It's so sad that society has gotten to a place where people have forgotten how to have grown up friendly discussions about important topics like this one with understanding, patience, prudence and love. We need to see more of this kind of video!!!

This was a blast! Thanks for having me on, Kirk! Appreciate the hospitality and hope Hellgate helps people dig deeper into the Scriptures and go out with gospel hope into the world. Now I gotta get back to the snakes in Australia! Dan.

Sure wish Michael Heiser could have had a seat at that table, R.I.P

I am so glad to hear this…many years ago I concluded that the Word taught death as punishment , not everlasting torment.  I kept my mouth shut because every time I would bring it up, it would go over like a lead balloon.  Finally! The conversation is happening.. 😊

Kudos to Kirk Cameron and these men. What a beautiful conversation with Christ at the center. ❤

Gavin’s humility is a great encouragement to me as well as Kirk’s. Thanks to these men I am a better Christian
