I saw Greaves at Chelsea and then at Spurs. He was a goal scoring machine. An amazing striker who could snatch goals from out of nowhere!

Greaves deserves a statue. The man was the greatest!

And what a great career Alan Mullery had for Fulham, Spurs and England.

best English forward ever, and scored on his debut for England, AC Milan, Chelsea, Spurs And West Ham....from an Irish LFC fan...GOD BLESS GREAVSIE..you and ST. JOHN are having a great laugh in heaven

He was the greatest of the great my hero and all ways will be god bless you Jimmy

Alan Mullery was a great ambassador for the game.

Jimmy  Greaves was the best

best player and goal scorer of all time ever !!!

One Spurs great honouring another.

Love this. He tells it straight. There are few things in life that are perfect but a JImmy Greaves goal was an exception (along with a Bobby Moore stand up tackle). Hugh McIlvanney one described a Greaves goal as "like closing the door on a Rolls Royce". Those of us who saw him live must count ourselves as lucky.

You were great Alan . Proper yid . Thanks mate

Jimmy the greatest Spur ever to grace the lane with his brilliance.RIP you Lillywhite legend.

Wonderful xx

It is with regret that i never seen him play live

alan mullery v malcolm allision with jimmy hill as ref is the best interview i have ever seen ,rip jimmy greaves

What a lovely tribute from another Spurs legend and wonderful captain of our Club.
His last comment about wanting to be like Jimmy, but being nothing like him always makes me laugh. He said this being the only man I have ever seen completely disallow  Pele get a touch  in a full game of football.

The sky interviewer just can't get his head around the fact there were better players in the 60s then of today , some of the players of today couldn't lace the boots of the greats of the 60s.

We’ll said Alan nobody like him

I remember one of Jimmys stories.  If Tommy Smith was in a good mood he would put TCP on his studs.

Imagine Greavsie & Harry up front...in either era
