Jimmy Saville was given a knighthood but Bobby Moore wasn't. It obviously depends who you know in high places 🤔

Bobby Moore was Kipling’s “If” personified. The Great Greavsie too.

It was criminal how Bobby Moore was treated by the FA in his lifetime - shame on them ! Jimmy nailed it

I have had the pleasure to have watched live Pele, maradona, George Best, Dennis law many more. Jimmy Greaves was with out doubt the greatest goal scorer spurs or England have had. His records speak for themselves!!

I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with Geoff Hurst a few years ago and he said Jimmy Greaves was very magnanimous to him and always very friendly after the World Cup. Great credit to Jimmy Greaves, who was an amazing player and for all of us who grew up watching Saint and Greavsie such a great fun face of football. RIP Jimmy. Missed by many.
