This looks like a wonderful way to see Ephesus without the carpet shop! Turkey has a lot of gems. Hope all is well with you and yours.

We saw the rug hard sell setting up after our cruise Ephesus trip. We were able to duck out before the convergence!! We warn everyone who goes there !!

Great review as always . And, very timely for us, as we will be in Ephesus in about 6 weeks. We have a private tour with guide and driver set up by HAL. It sounds very similar to what you did, but we are probably paying more. But, we are only in port from 7 to 3 PM, so we felt getting the cruise excursion private tour was right for us.

Went last May. But I was ill and could not do the entire site. I am going back in 28 and I will get to the bottom half of the site and watch the video. I could skip the rug hard sell.

Thanks for the great tour idea. I'm trying to find how to contact the tour operator to ask questions about costs for a group and costs for tickets, if included or not. The tour description in viator has conflicting info on tickets. I am not seeing a way to contact the tour operator to ask questions in Viator. Any suggestions?
