Looking for the best head shaver for bald men in 2026? I tested 7 popular head shavers and narrowed them down to the 3 I’d actually recommend buying based on closeness, comfort, performance, versatility, and overall value.

My final top 3 are the Groomie BaldiePro, Brio Beardscape Foil Shaver, and MaxGroom 7D Pro—but which one takes the #1 spot?

I’ve been shaving my head for the past 30 years. I recently had to go on blood thinners, so I need to stop using my razors on my head. Bc I do cut myself occasionally.
I need an electric shaver for my head. One that won’t irritate my skin or cut me. I don’t want to risk it

The one and only head shaver I've used for the last 10yrs is The Omnishaver. From a 3D printed shaver to a molded plastic version with stainless steel, I highly recommend it. Smooth, fast, and lasts for about 1 to 2yrs.

I definitely need to find a better option than the Pitbull Gold Head Shaver, this thing whether its wet or dry still leaves a lot of rough stubble regardless of how many passes i make over it or the pattern/technique. I don't see why people like it so much.

Personally I pick Pikachu over Raichu, but in terms of damage he's better

Im in the same boat as another commentor/ I also went ahead an took a chance on the Maxgroom 7D pro after watching your rankings& Im talking after years of never being able to find a head shaver that actually shaved my head?/ THIS THING IS FANTASTIC! Im talking 5STARS all the way Round the board& it was way LESS EXPENSIVE than I thought! Great Product: Ive had mine for 3months now& it hasnt failed me yet/ it also keeps me from spending $$$ at the Barbershop like I used too[I always would go& get a hot str8 Razor shave from time to time?/[NOT ANYMORE] PEACE

I got the MAXGROOM 7d pro based of one your prior videos. $39.99 Walmart on line. I was using the Remington Boulder Pro. The MAXGROOM 7d pro has a much longer lasting charge. Also very comfortable on the head. I’ve yet to find anything other than a foil that gets the top of my head super smooth , but it is very uncomfortable on my head.
I 💕 the 7D pro!

Nightmare, this is a day late because I have ordered Philips Norelco Head Shaver Pro 7000 Series. I was looking at the Maxgroom Pro! Also.

Can you do the face too?

My Maxgroom my 7D broke today after a month. Motor just stopped/blades wouldn't turn. Super disappointed cause it was insanely good for that month of use.

I just used the maxgroom pro shaver for less than a month, cleaned it after every shave, the shaver ceased to turn on after. I wonder if it happened to you as well.

Bought the maxgroom pro, and while I do think it is good, seems the groomie does a better job. We all got different heads though of course

I got the max groom yesterday because of you. Its my first head shaver. This thing is brilliant. I used to use clipper and would put off doing it because of the clean up after and then having to try to get the cut hair off or have another shower. My intention was to get it and use it once a week.
Tried it today with hair quite long maybe over 5mm it was a game changer compared to my clippers.
much quieter than the clippers. zero mess left and much quicker. So i will be using it often.
how often do you use yours and for washing the blades is it simply rinse out shake and leave to dry upside down? Thanks for your videos i love this shaver

Do you recommend using shaving cream when using a foil shaver?

@T.O.D. 1 month ago

Just out of curiosity why do you test no “professional” shavers barber would use (Stylecraft, Gemma, Babyliss, Wahl etc.)? 👀

Professionals usually work with the best tools for a job (as the are getting paid for it) they have not incentive to not use the best and I have personally not seen a roatary shaver like a pitbull in a barber shop until now. 😳 no cap

I know they are somewhat easy to use and at the same time foilrazors aren’t that complicated to handle either. In the end it is a preference and still I think when you want the “best” out of something look what the professionals use as they make their living with it. ✌️😅
