"Upon winning, Horsestud emigrated to Equestria, where he lived very happily ever after."

At this point Ehrgeiz should be on the show just for the amount of times it was referenced

EDIT: for those with two brain cells, I'm not saying Ehrgeiz is a bad game, I'm saying that it earned its episode.

They just didn't use periods or apostrophes. The dragon for instance is 7'2" and 309.0 lbs. I THINK that's what they meant.

3:21 “I’ve actually dabbled with the idea of throwing “StreetSmart” Into The Ring, but it always comes down to the technical, logistical problem of just I DON’T WANT TO.”

Sounds like a future Champion in the works to me!

i will patiently wait for that 2xko wha happun....

8:36 "Don't know which fighter to main? Why not Zoidberg?"

“Genesis Drive” sounds like a fighting game move

That victory bell sound effect freaked my cat out so bad

Treco sounds like a company that makes fishing gear...

A friend came in while I was watching this and was like....why is that skeleton caked up?

Moonlit wilderness intro in big 2026? IN THIS ECONOMY?! 🗣

The fact it only uses two face buttons makes me wonder if this was an old NES project that just got abandoned and then some random executive saw what they had made and said "screw it, let's finish this on the new 16 bit thingy."
PS:   16:00  Hey, I see what you did there. 😉

Arn Anderson spinebuster, that's a Gentleman's choice.

The people yern for SHADOW: WAR OF SUCCESSION for 3DO

I'll keep pushing for IMP. The collectible fighting game where each of the 50 chars came in their OWN CD. And one of the chars is named ButtGod!! Come on, Matt!

“Time Slaughter” MS-DOS next.

It seems like there were a ton of games in this era with a tournament of fighters from alien planets, but none of them seemed to land. It seems like a winning idea, but I can't think of a single instance where it worked.

Haven't you cover this one before? Oh, it was Master's Figher, they really ran out of fighting game names back in the nineties.

IS THAT A GODDAMN LOBSTER MAN!?

"Valgasu"... so, "Vargas." The final boss is just a common Hispanic last name, but in Japanese? I feel like that happens a lot.
