I remember being banned for a month from Roblox for spelling out “shit” in a chat. Then my friend got groomed on there and nothing happened to the predator. Priorities

Roblox as a game has SO much potential, yet they make the worst out of their fame.

its crazy how the concept of roblox sounds so fucking fun for a kids game, you can have an avatar that can look like anything and you can play billions of unique games but roblox is run by a bunch of fucking deranged billionaires and they do shit like this like calling predators ruining childhoods on your game an opportunity

What saddens me is that this game was a part of many people's childhoods, and now almost no one can play it anymore for fear of encountering someone sinister...

fun fact: roblox used to have a chatting system for younger users named "super safe chat", where they could only chat with premade sentences

they removed it

deleted my cai account last week that i had for like 3 years. i was so addicted and its so embarrassing saying that about ai chatbots, but it genuinely felt like an addiction. having access to your favorite characters in whatever scenario you like is so fun, but none of its real, and suddenly years pass by and youve spent 10hrs daily on stupid chatbots that dont even remember your name after a couple messages and youre ignoring your friends texts to spend more time with a literal ai. sorry but ill hate cai forever lol. ill just write fanfiction instead.

0:15 me watching this on my I pad😢

as someone who recently deleted their character ai account, i think most of it was me wanting alternate endings to books/shows/movies, but at one point it was my main form of entertainment, dont go on there guys, please just don’t
😊

As an older Gen Z, I feel bad for younger Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and now Gen Beta, because I can remember from until the age of 11, having a pretty decent childhood that didn’t center around social media, twitch/kick streamers, always being connected to the internet, etc.

We had technology and that stuff but it wasn’t as invasive as it is today. Everything needs a software update and to be connected to the internet and there’s a constant surveillance happening that prevents kids from being kids anymore because everyone is watching everyone, recording everyone.

16:29 I just know he’s referencing flamingo, but I can’t prove it 😢💔

What's crazy is that MOST kids that play roblox only plays roblox. Like they don't know what GOOD games are and won't transition. Life is sad man...

Im a 14 year old boy, and last year i was extrememly stressed and overwhelemed with homework to the point i couldnt do it at home - so i went to the library. EVERY DAY after school, all of the kids younger then us (im talking like 7-10) would run onto the ONLY four computers to play roblox for AN HOUR STRAIGHT. and when their limit would run out they would cry. I literally didnt get any work done that year.

i got groomed by a pred when i was six on this app. in 2017 and roblox didnt do anything. my mother removed me from roblox for over three years before i was allowed to have it back with restrictions. now i play some sports games, but my chat is removed and it is so helpful.

It’s sad because I grew up during prime Roblox and now it’s lowkey turned into something evil. I only go online to play bloxburg and Royale High and that’s about it because all of the games are ai slop now

2:47  MY DAD MESSAGED ME THE OTHER DAY FREAKED OUT BECAUSE HE HEARD THAT ON THE RAIDIO IN HIS CAR

roblox used to be part of everyone's childhood but now its gone to shambles

The AI scan thing is so bad, people are literally using their own roblox avatar to bypass it. It can't even recognize that it's not even a real person.

I honestly silently boycotted this platform after the official lawsuit. My heart refused to connect to an application that causes soo much harm towards KIDS and not even taking accountability

16:08  I have a feeling this is about flamingo…lmao😭

As somebody who played roblox at 7 years old and didn't stop for so long, yeah. It's fucked. I was groomed from when I was 9-13 by three people who brought me and several other young kids to discord using roblox. To top it off, their accounts are still active daily. It's horrifying to realize and witness how disgusting roblox truly is for enabling these people.
