I love reggies newer editing style. Seeing his insane rants and comparisons animated is truly beautiful

fun fact, the spells and items he mentions that are really out there (such as sweatpants of circumcision, spell of summon foot fetishist, etc.) that look like there's actual ingame item descriptions of, is just very well edited stuff by Reggie. when i first watched his video i had to do a double take because it looks so convincing

You don't know fear until you see his gnome video.

19:40 - Bless you!

The Shaman class can shapeshift into a Rat, a Spider, a Troll and an Imp in Barony

Love the use of Fear and Hunger music and sfx in Reggie's video😍

12:06 I'm not scared of that.  My parents applied that debuff when I spawned in and it doesn't stack.

20:30 Whenever you see someone like this, just remember that pointy ends are their  weakness, so just become The Pincushion Man from Balloon Land (1935)

24:37  Camimi?!

29:17 goose honking intensifies

It kinda looks like Minecraft had a baby with Runescape butt that baby was raised by the Doom Guy and Warhammer

Merchants have to be able to defend themselves to survive a world full of wizards and shit casually walking around.

Yes, Yujiro sees himself as the only male of the human race

24:40 one had a tracker stuffed inside a gift she got from a fan, she had to move out

I bought this game because of reggies video and for me the hardest part of this game is having enough food. In all of my runs that were going really well, where i was pretty powerful i died of starvation every time due to lack of food in the 2nd and 3rd dungeons.

yes-yes

5:46 if he's the potato King he's either from Ireland or Idaho

Barony is visually very Minecraft-like, but mechanically it’s more of a mix of Elder Scrolls (early Elder Scrolls especially) with Nethack Lite. So there’s hunger, you improve skills by using them, the dungeon is procedurally generated and pretty linear, there’s some item crafting, etc
Also the playable monster races include vampires, saytrs, and living skeletons. Rat form is tied to the Shaman class, which is sorta like D&D’s druid. As you level up you unlock exciting new forms like troll form, spider/crab form, and imp form; Reggie’s challenge simply prohibits actually using those forms

Micky has come for blood

28:16, yes… yes it did.
