It's so funny seeing people that aren't too familiar with Reggie's content, because Reggie will say something extremely out of pocket and my reaction is just: "Haha, yeah", while people that rarely watch him are jumpscared by his words

Giving context to some things: the shaman class is what allows you to become rodent. but, to make the rat only run viable, Reggie wants to play the class as the race of vampire. By default, the shaman class can only be selected as one of a few select races (i believe it's goblin, human, and maybe the robot), but by beating the game normally as a goblin shaman, the shaman class becomes selectable by any race in the game

g'dam finally :)

Edit: and yes, Barony is a full-reset kind of game, a proper Roguelike
Not easy, not all that difficult, but a ton of learning to do

Bought Barony for me and all my friends, was really some good fun. Me and one of those friends got quite a few finished runs on it. The boss Reggie fights at the end of this video is actually an alternate middle boss that replaces the Baron he fought at the beginning. The last bosses are the ones he does to unlock the shaman for vampire.

11:34 I think that was in New York City. Somebody who's is a bit of a local legend for really committing to the bit.

the game is a rougelike beacuse you get more lore after dying. you keep no items, skills or spells but you get special currency that lets you buy lore info for items, enemies and floors, so its technically a rougelike since you get a special currency for playing. but you dont keep anything that accually helps you progress through the game, you get 1 life and need to fully restart after dying unless you have a very rare item like amulet of life saving. so every time you see reggie die in the video, he was send back to the floor 1 and needed to levitate 3k more times

I wondered when you’d get to this one
